  • All-CGI Cartoon: Unlike its hand drawn predecessors, Un Gallo Con Muchos Huevos and the subsequent two films, Un Rescate De Huevitos and Huevitos Congelados, are animated in CG with fur and feather textures.
  • Art Shift: Tito’s nightmare sequence and his father’s flashback are shown in 2D animation.
  • Alternative Foreign Theme Song: The original version has "Que no te importe nada" while the English dub has Bad To The Bone by George Thorogood
  • Dance Party Ending: Once the farm is saved from bankruptcy, almost all the characters gather to dance and celebrate.
  • Double-Meaning Title: The original Spainish title "Un gallo con muchos huevos" means both "A Rooster with Many Eggs" and "A Cock with Big Balls" [courage].
  • Dub Name Change: For whatever reason, the movie's English dub changes the main character's name from "Toto" to "Rollo".
  • Love Interest: Toto has one in the form of a young glasses-wearing hen named Di, voiced by Maite Perroni.
  • Pun-Based Title: The film's English title, Huevos: Little Rooster's Egg-cellent Adventure, features a pun on the words "egg" and "excellent" to fit its protagonist being an anthropomorphic rooster.
  • Red Boxing Gloves: The cockfighting (rooster boxing) roosters (and duck disguised as a rooster) wear big thick boxing gloves.
