SuperKitties! Meow!

SuperKitties is an American Preschool Show created by Paula Rosenthai and produced by Sony Pictures Television for Disney Junior. The show focuses on a group of four kittens: Ginny, Sparks, Buddy and Bitsy. In the human eye, they are normal cats, but when villains strike, they transform into the SuperKitties. The series premiered on Disney Junior on January 11, 2023. A second season, titled SuperKitties: Su-purr Charged premiered on April 5, 2024.

SuperKitties contains examples of:

  • Aesop Amnesia: The villains always learn a moral at the end of every episode, but they always repeat their villainous actions the next episode.
  • Anthropomorphic Shift: The main four normally look like regular kittens, but the moment they become the SuperKitties their paws become fingered hands and they become bipedal.
  • The Baby of the Bunch: Bitsy.
  • Christmas Episode: "Merry Mousemas"
  • Companion Cube: Mr. Greenie, Bitsy's toy mouse.
  • Edutainment Show: The show aims to both entertain and teach morals.
  • Every Episode Ending: Every episode ends with Bitsy making a post in her video diary, summarizing the episode's events and stating the moral of the episode.
  • Expy: Zsa Zsa somewhat happens to be the female version/counterpart of an even more villainous cockatoo.
  • First Snow: One episode revolves around Bitsy's first snow day.
  • Freudian Excuse: Doubles with Jerk with a Heart of Gold. The villains are good deep down, but when they don't get their way, they resort to villainy. By the end of the episode, the villains realize their actions were wrong and apologize.
  • Halloween Episode: "Howloween Cat"
  • Humans Are Morons: None of the humans ever recognize the SuperKitties, no matter now hectic the situation is.
  • I Can't Believe I'm Saying This: Mr. Puppypaws reacts like this when he's about to thank the SuperKitties for recovering something stolen from him.
  • Injured Limb Episode: In "Have a Ball", Ginny hurts her leg and cannot participate in the mission.
  • It Runs in the Family: In "Cat Tree Caper", Cat Burglar says stealing runs in his family when his grandmother Catarina is caught stealing from Mr. Puppypaws.
  • Primal Fear: Bitsy is afraid of the dark.
  • The Singing Mute: In Roboctopus, the Cute Mute Otto reveals a surprisingly romantic singing voice when joining Bitsy's song about feeling left out. Even she gets surprised at this reveal.
    Bitsy: You can talk?!
  • Title, Please!: Like other Disney Junior shows since Summer 2018, the episode titles do not appear on screen, but they were still spoken by the characters.
  • Valentine's Day Episode: "Vanishing Valentines"
