Rubble & Crew is a Canadian animated series and a Spin-Off of Spin Master's popular franchise PAW Patrol. Unlike the main series (which aired on TVOntario), it airs on Treehouse and StackTV in Canada (since it was produced in association with the latter two's parent company Corus). In the US, it airs on Nickelodeon.

The series stars Rubble as he relocates to Builder Cove, where he and his family help out the community by building new establishments, such as airports, bridges, train stations, and more.

The series launched on January 9th, 2023, on YouTube via the official Rubble & Crew channel. Two episodes titled "The Crew Builds a Bridge" and "The Crew Builds a Big Bike Shop" were released there before airing on TV the following month.

Rubble & Tropes:

  • Art Shift: The series art style hits the middle point between the movie (the more detailed faces) and the main series (the colour scheme/general look).
  • The Baby of the Bunch: Motor is the youngest member of Rubble's crew.
  • Christmas Episode: The Crew Builds a Christmas Show, much like with the main PAW Patrol series' third Christmas special "Charger's Christmas Adventure", this one last for 11 minutes, it's also the PAW Patrol franchise's fourth Christmas special overall.
  • Continuity Snarl: On PAW Patrol, Rubble was a bit of a loner living on his own when Ryder found him, and his love of digging led to him becoming Ryder’s construction pup. According to 'Rubble & Crew' he comes from a large family of builders.
  • Family Theme Naming: All of Rubble's family have names based on construction and machinery; Grandpa Gravel, Auntie Crane, Mix, Wheeler, Charger, and Motor.
  • Foil: Speed Meister and Mr. McTurtle are this to Rubble and his construction crew family:
    • Speed Meister always rushes his work, doesn't think his plans all the way through, and is more than willing to use underhanded tactics against his rivals. Rubble and his crew, however, work honestly and patiently; they constantly avoid similar tactics to Speed Meister's, are thorough in inspecting their work, and work both slow enough to ensure quality and fast enough to ensure efficiency.
  • Halloween Episode: The Crew Fixes a Haunted House, it's also the PAW Patrol franchise's third Halloween special overall, and the second one that's an 11 minute segment, the first was the main series' "Pups Save The Trick-Or-Treaters" from it's fifth season.
  • Hates Baths: Motor... until when her family build a super tub for her.
  • Idiosyncratic Episode Naming: All episodes begin with the subtitle "The Crew...".
