Psyko Ferret is a pilot by Klasky-Csupo. It was never picked up for a full show.
The pilot takes place in a neighborhood called Independence Meadows that bans animals. Two twin sisters have a pet ferret named Psyko that they must keep a secret, but it's hard to keep Psyko a secret when he's always running off somewhere.
This cartoon provides examples of:
- Adorable Fluffy Tail: Ferrets don't have tails, but Psyko has a fluffy red one.
- Amazing Technicolor Wildlife: Ferrets come in many colours but plain dark red is not one of them.
- Ambiguous Time Period: It doesn't seem to take place in contemporary times judging by Fletcher's retro television and the general aesthetic of the pilot.
- Fat Slob: Fletcher is a chubby kid who makes snot bubbles.
- Frisky Ferret: The twins’ ferret is always running around.
- Informed Species: Psyko looks very little like a ferret, from his teeth, to his fluffy tail, and his pelt colour.
- Tomboyish Voice: Jackie has a lower voice than her more feminine sister.
- Theme Twin Naming: The twins are named Jackie and Jill.
