Party Central is a 2013 Pixar short that takes place after the events of the film Monsters University.

It's Rush Week at Monsters University, and Oozma Kappa's party has dismal turnout. However, Mike and Sulley, who are visiting the campus, had to foresight to bring over a useful tool: working doors! Using the doors, they devise a plan to steal everything from Roar Omega Roar's party and bring it there, disturbing a human family in the process. Little does Oozma Kappa know how insane the party of their lifetime can actually get.

It was first shown at the D23 Expo on August 9, 2013. Originally intended to be screened in front of The Good Dinosaur when it had a Summer 2014 release date, the film's delay to the following year caused to short to be played in front of the theatrical release of Muppets Most Wanted instead.

Party Central contains examples of:

• Bait-and-Switch: Squishy's mother, Sheri, interrupts the frat party, angry at Scott Sebastian Squibbles for it. We're led to believe it was because of the party... but then Sheri notices the door station and asks if they were door-jamming, to which Squishy is left confusedly wondering about.
• Can-Crushing Cranium: Percy Boleslaw crushes a can with his skull, and then eats the can.
• Code Name: While Oozma Kappa is using walkie-talkies to execute their party heist, Mike is called 'Beach Ball', Sulley is 'Throw Rug' and Art is 'Fuzzy Rainbow'.
• Description Cut: At the beginning of the short, the Oozma Kappa brothers are disappointed that nobody's come to their party.
  Squishy: This is gonna be the worst night of our lives.
  [Mike and Sulley burst in]
  Mike: This is gonna be the best night of our lives!
• Full-Name Ultimatum: Sheri yells at Squishy using his full name... for not inviting her to Oozma Kappa's frat party.
• Portal Network: Mike and Sulley smuggle two doors from Monsters, Inc. to bring the party at Roar Omega Roar to Oozma Kappa. The partygoers go through a human couple's bedroom, who are occasionally woken by the noise.
• The Stinger: The husband and wife head to their son's bedroom, asking Timmy if they can sleep with him for the night, having seen monsters in their closet (with one of the monsters door-jamming through their room as they cheer her on).
  Timmy: That's what I've been trying to tell you!
• Title Drop: Sully and Mike both mention the short's name.
  • First, Sulley initiates the operation to steal Roar Omega Roar's party.
    Sulley: Operation Party Central is a go.
  • Mike welcomes three monsters to Oozma Kappa's frat party.
    Mike: Welcome to Party Central!
• Wacky Fratboy Hijinks: Expected for a frat party, with tons of dancing, eating, and crazy stunts.
• Wrong-Name Outburst: Parodied; Art tells one monster that he saw his girlfriend making out with someone else in the closet, and as he runs through the humans' room shouting "Janelle, baby!", the wife gets up and asks her husband "Who's Janelle?"
