The '''Freakin' Awesome Network''' is an all-encompassing website founded by Madison Carter and Dan Lashley that covers "everything geek", from video games, to movies, to wrestling, and even My Little Pony. Its' message boards were once a part of WrestleCrap, before splitting off on its own in October 2010. Many of the members of the FAN Forums also contribute to the main FAN site with recurring articles.

This website provides examples of:

  • The Artifact: The archives of the message boards is comprised of mostly WrestleCrap history, including correspondence from the late John Tenta.
  • Ban on Politics: Politics and religion are red flags within the forums, with threads involving the latter topics getting locked. This is occasionally relaxed for the US and UK elections, where one thread on the subject is allowed, with explicit rules that being a jerk is an instant ban.
  • Butt-Monkey: The TNA section is pretty much full of everyone shitting on the company.
  • Fun with Acronyms: The official title is "Freakin Awesome Network" and it's for "FAN"s of Pop Culture
  • Game Mod: The forum has an official WWE Video Games thread, as well as a separate Forum Games section where these can often be found, ranging from head swaps (Putting John Cena's head on Randy Orton's body), to full characters from various media (Santa Claus, etc).
  • Long Runner: The Aforementioned My Little Pony thread, now at 400. Until Autumn of 2013 threads were Auto-locked at 30 pages. over 300 were created in this manner.
  • Memetic Mutation: The forum's responsible for many, many, many wrestling memes, with Photoshop threads always a popular source for them.
  • Message Board: Linked above.
  • Spinoff: Of the Wrestlecrap forums.
  • Un-person: It's explicitly pointed out in The Rules that it's VERY frowned upon to speak about banned posters.
