Find The Computer Room's content has expanded to include a variety of different types of shows, even going as far into non-Sonic territory. These include:

    Playthroughs
  • Let's Plays
The classic format you all know and love(?), where the FTCR crew, along with usually a few guests, commentate over a video game for wacky shenanigans, starting off mainly Sonic, but most recently branching out to include Spider-Man and Kirby. Most interesting is their decisions to pick the most random and obscure games to "play" (see: Sonic Speedway, Waku Waku Sonic Patrol Car, Sega Sonic Popcorn Shop)

  • Livestreams
Live broadcasts which can range from a planned-out event to raise awareness (the Sonic Boom: Rise Of Lyric Charity Stream & Sonic 3 & Knuckles Remastered Stream for Success) to a full blown drunken rage-filled good time (Sonic And The Secret Rings)

  • Nintendothon
Archives of the famous Nintendothon, an almost non-stop charity event featuring HFC, BSC, FTCR, and more guests, as they play games to raise money for the Mind Charity. Many of the most (im)famous FTCR running gags and jokes were started here including Kirby's Dream Land (Whispy Woods), Banjo-Ka Smoovies (Airhorns), & Smoovies Adventures (Everything Miwa)

  • FTA & Mykonosfan All-Star Gaming
A series of videos featuring FTA & Mykonosfan as they explore the multiplayer modes on various Sonic & Sega related games. Each video also includes a new take on Mykonosfan's name (Mykonisfan, Digimonfan, Classic Physics Fan, Everybody Hates Chris, etc.)

  • FTA & Smoovies Play
More multiplayer related content, this time featuring FTA & (internet celebrity) Smoovies. Also included in this series is the Drunken Sonic Shuffle playthrough featuring other internet celebrity SomecallmeJohnny.

    Podcasts

  • The Hog-Cast
A previously cancelled podcast hosted by FTA & Torch that focused on them talking about any Sonic-related news happening at the time. The podcast has since been rebooted as The Hogcast, hosted by FTA, Mykonosfan, and TJ.

  • The Super Power Flower Hour
Hosted by FTA & Smoovies (and featuring a special intro and outro from Mike Pollock), this podcast can include a variety of different topics, usually involving a guest, as they talk about any number of topics, usually relating to said guest.

  • Skype Sanctuary
A freeform chat that usually involves a wide-variety of guests deciding to just simply talk and shoot-the-shit over Skype. One of the few FTCR projects not to have FTA involved with every episode, as some episodes only feature guests Brain Scratch Comms, Blaze Otaku, and Sonic Retro.

  • Sonic Sez
The most on going and consistent of the podcasts, this features FTA, Th 3 Anti Guardian, Jono Carter, TJ and several other of their friends as they discuss about the Sonic The Hedgehog & Sonic Universe comics by Archie.

    Reviews

Hosted by Mykonosfan, in an attempt to fill a huge gap in his gaming knowledge, as he explores beloved (and hated) games associated with the brand and see if he can discover any hidden gems. It is by far the longest running FTCR review series to date.

  • Smoovies Reviews
A highly produced project in which the one and only Smoovies goes in depth to pick apart and dissect how good the Sonic games (or any games) are really. So far only the Sonic 1 review has been released, but the Sonic 2 one is very soon...

  • Film Reviews
It's exactly what you get, reviews of movies that have come out. So far the only review released is of Wreck-It Ralph.

  • You Can Do Better
Hosted by Karto 1989 of Blaze Otaku, it's a series that looks over games to see what could be done to improve them. So far only 1 episode has been produced (Sonic Adventure).

    Special Zone

  • Cake Bake Zone
A series of videos which show off special Sonic-related cakes, baked by FTA's wife, Kari.

  • Cutscene Commentaries
Commentaries of the cutscenes from various Sonic games, from individual ones, to the Sonic Movies compliations. Usually done by FTA & Torch, with a few FTA solo.

  • A Welcome Message From
Find The Computer Room.com plugs from various people involved in the Sonic series.

  • Super Sonic Sum-Ups
You know the "_____ in 5 Seconds"? It's like that, but with Sonic.

  • Extra Zone
Any miscellaneous videos that FTCR has created, from Interviews, to Photoshop Videos, and Cutscene Edits.

  • Randoms

    Featurettes

  • Summer of Sonic '09

  • Summer of Sonic '10

  • Summer of Sonic '11

FindTheComputerRoom contains examples of:

  • Aborted Arc: The original run of Sonic Lost World was lost.
    • Sonic 4: Episode 2 was this with the co-op, as the online wasn't working when FTA and Smoovies were trying. They talked over the single player instead.
    • FTA & MykonosFan did eventually do the co-op locally.
    • Their playthrough of the (in)famous Bee Movie tie-in game was cut short after 5 episodes due to their copy of the game no longer working.
  • Ambiguously Gay: Between FTA and Smoovies, and later between FTA
  • Ascended Fangirl: Mia, she's a fan of FTCR & FTA during his time on HFC that made her one day randomly add Gareth on Skype which in turn made her an official FTCR member.
  • Bad Boss: Played for Laughs with FTA, who constantly insults and berates his fellow commentators, as well as firing them multiple times over something incredibly petty.
  • Big Fun: TJ may be the biggest member of the group, but he is also the most lovable.
  • Breakout Character: SSF1991 aka Donnie, the always put-upon Butt-Monkey of the group, has become extremely popular with the fans for his memes and his tenacity with Spinball.
  • Catchphrase:
    • Ch'yeaah, buddy!
    • CHICKEN! (Smoovies)
    • Hauppage
    • Babababwaaah!(TJ)
    • You're fired! (FTA)
    • Awesomesauce (FTA)
  • Crossover: With Ted, Ryan, Johnny and Lewis of BrainScratch Commentaries who have appeared in parts of various LPs and Podcasts. FTA has also been in a few BSC Commentaries.
  • Deadpan Snarker: Almost everyone, though the levels of "deadpan" may vary.
  • Fan Art: People have made this of various FTCR members, and the crew occasionally talks about some of the bad Sonic Fan Art.
    • The Nintendothon brought about a slew of memes with the various FTCR members pasted over characters faces, among a load of other stuff.
  • Fan Boy: Most of the commentators are this towards Sonic.
  • First-Name Basis: Since the crew are friends outside the internet, they often use their names instead of handles. Gareth is FTA, Stephen is Smoovies, Skyler is SegaSky, Mia is MagneticNeko, Chris is MykonosFan and Donnie is... Donnie.
  • Four-Man Band:
  • Gag Dub: "Sonic 3&K" by the "Hellfire Boys", which can be seen here.
  • Genki Girl: Inverted. TJ is a genki guy.
  • Guest-Star Party Member: Guests in LPs, Podcasts and other videos, from friends of the crewmembers, to people working for SEGA, to people added at random (Sonic 3D Blast).
  • The Hyena: FTA, full stop. Every third remark levied by his co-commentators sends him into an exaggerated cackling frenzy.
  • Hot-Blooded: TJ and FTA.
  • Large Ham: TJ, usually. "BWABWABWABWAAAAAAAH!"
  • Last-Name Basis: Clement, whenever he appears as a guest. His own LPs show his first name is Jamie.
  • Let's Play: They used to call them commentaries but now they refer to them as LPs.
  • Live Episode: The FTCR Livestreams, Marathons, and FTA and Smoovies/MykonosFan Play series.
  • Nice Guy: The crew are essentially this, especially with their fans. Any Jerkass moments in-universe are Played for Laughs.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: TJ and FTA are the red to Smoovies', Mykonosfan's, and Donnie's blue.
  • Self-Deprecation: Nowhere will you find more shots taken at the site than on its own social media outlets.
  • Shameless Self-Promoter/Please Subscribe to Our Channel: Played for Laughs by FTA or Smoovies.
  • Shout-Out: Their channel has shoutouts to FTCR from various developers and voice actors from the Sonic series. The crew occasionally make a few, too.
  • The Stoic: Mykonosfan.
    • Not So Stoic: Whenever something's really funny, expect his laugh to be the loudest.
  • Stylistic Suck: They like to present themselves as this. Much of the comedy in their playthroughs comes from their extremely loose and manic commentary style. This may be a parody of many famous LPers that are criticized for not talking about the game being covered and instead just making noises.
