Zomgan is a 2022 action Korean webcomic written by ongoo, drawn by dai and hosted on Webtoon. It first launched on June 16th, 2022 in Korea before receiving an official English translation released on October 19th of the same year.

Coming out of a Zombie Apocalypse that wrecked the world, Zomgans - half-human, half-zombie hybrids - have come to rule what's left and oppress the human survivors. What's keeping the Zomgans from annihilating humanity are the Eradication Front, a group that's rebelling against them and have super-powered humans, transcenders, in their array.

Despite the Eradication Front's hard efforts, they are struggling in the fight against Zomgans until they encounter a mysterious boy named Mirae On who is essentially unable to die and can kill Zomgans with ease...

The webcomic can be read for free here.

This webtoon consists examples of:

  • Bloodsplattered Innocents: After Mirae On blows Craven into bits via his veins, the resulting explosion covers Gyuho in Craven's dark-colored blood. Gyuho looks on in shock and confusion as wonders who Mirae is and how he was able to defeat Craven and several other Zomgans.
  • Death Seeker: Mirae On's main goal is to find someone who'll be able to kill him. However as he has a powerful Healing Factor that'll patch him up quickly from other-wise lethal injuries such as getting sliced into numerous pieces and decapitation, it's rather difficult and Mirae has failed several times. He only joins the Eradication Front when Gyeong Lee promises to him that she'll help kill him.
  • Elite Zombie: Zombies ended up evolving into Zomgans, which are half-human, half-zombie hybrids. Zomgans retain their sentience and are rather powerful, leading to them destroying civilization and dominating over the remaining human survivors.
  • Everyone Has Standards: Even though he admits to trying to kill Gyeong Lee for annoying him, Mirae On decides to not go through it as he doesn't like killing humans compared to Zomgans, which he has no issue with killing mercilessly.
  • Glowing Eyes of Doom: In the first episode, the Zomgan guards' eyes start glowing ominously as they approach Mirae On, taunt him and talk about how they got a human feast on their hands.
  • Good Thing You Can Heal: Mirae On possesses a powerful Healing Factor that can heal any and all injuries, including being sliced into numerous pieces by a Zomgan and decapitation.
  • Half the Man He Used to Be: In episode one, Mirae On slashes a Zomgan's body vertically in half with a large bone.
  • Losing Your Head: As Mirae On simply can't die thanks to his quick, powerful Healing Factor, he can survive beheadings and regenrate another head.
  • Mook Horror Show: After Craven orders his Zomgan goons to charge towards Mirae On to avenge Jeff, Mirae doesn't go merciful on them. He punches the ground, summoning bones and uses one of them to slaughter his way through the Zomgan. It ranges from beheading one, slashing another in half, and using his own organs and bones to murder the remaining Mooks.
  • Off with His Head!: In the first episode, Mirae On casually beheads the Zomgan guards and then goes on to behead some more Zomgans later on, mainly by using his organs he took out from his body and a bone he summoned from the ground. A rather noticable case is when he summons a miniature brain and proceeds to play baseball with it, blowing off some Zomgans' heads as a result.
  • The Promise: Gyeong Lee promises Mirae On that once human society is rebuilt, she'll kill him. Considering that Mirae On is immortal and has been desiring death, he looks in awe after Gyeong confirms that she can keep this promise.
  • Pulling Themselves Together: In the first episode, Jeff, an elite guard of Craven, slashes Mirae On into dozens of pieces with his blade. However, thanks to Mirea's Healing Factor, he's able to casually put himself back in one piece, catching Jeff off-guard.
