In this world video game characters are all actors playing a role, but like any actor they need a place to live. Which can be hard when you're a giant ape or a creature made out of fire. Seeing the troubles his fellow actors were facing, Luigi opened a building for various characters to live in between making a new game. Most of the comic takes place inside the apartment building that Luigi runs while the main focus is on the interaction between the many, many characters who all call the place home as they go about their daily life.
Video Game Apartments is a webcomic that started in January, 2021, and updates weekly on both Webtoon and Tapas. It is written and created by Shawn "Raven" Eaton and was originally drawn by NAME. In February 2022, NAME announced they were leaving the comic, and NAME took over the role the following week.
