The Wallachian Library written by The Heretic Locomotive is the story of the unlikely trio between the Grim Reaper, talking female horse Death, and Grim's apprentice Katya. What was supposed to be an easy lesson about reaping souls for Katya turned into a conflict with some hidden cult when Death steals his scythe and loses it in a fight with a redhead cyborg, forcing the trio of them to work together.

The comic contains the following comics:

  • Berserk Button: Death does not like being treated like an animal much less being insulted as such when Vladimir did so.
  • Combat Pragmatist: Although a capable fighter on her own, Death is not above resorting to cheap tactics. She gave the Grim Reaper a double legged kick when he was more interested in talking to her than fighting, and later did the same to a Kremlin Guard by pretending to be a mindless animal and letting him drop his guard around her. She also stole the scythe from Katya by nicely complimenting her for her first soul reaping before snatching the scythe away from her. Likewise, she did not hesitate in trying to kick the Grim Reaper from behind, only for him to duck and trip her with his recovered scythe.
  • Cool Horse: Death on account of being a talking horse is implied to not only be the pale horse of one of the Riders of the Apocalypse but she's also the Rider herself.
  • Distracted by the Sexy: Katya attempts to seduce the guards into getting access to the facilities...only for this trope to be averted when the guard are robots and therefore unable to be distracted by her. Surprisingly enough, this trope is played straight with Strela, who is a cyborg and capable of feeling attraction to Katya due to still having human needs.
  • Hard Head: Death has this when using her true form. She can crack a thick wall of glass with a pair of headbutts. Subverted in that she gets herself knocked out by this.
  • Hellish Horse: Death when using her true form.
  • Kick Chick: Being a horse, Death's preferred method for starting or finishing a fight is a mighty kick with both of her back hooves capable of sending the recipient several feet away from her. Given what she can do when she uses her powers, a kick is the least of anyone's worries.
  • Megaton Punch: Death's kicks are naturally powerful on account of her being a horse as any recipient is sent flying away from her once her hooves impact against them.
  • Noodle Incident: Apparently Grim Reaper wasn't always a sack of bones as his current appearance was a result of rebelling just like Death is doing right now.
  • Sinister Scythe: The Grim Reaper has one for reaping souls and combat. Much to his annoyance, it keeps getting stolen.
  • Show Some Leg: Before suggesting having Katya distract the guards, she disrobes her a little to expose her cleavage, much to the Grim Reaper's discomfort.
  • We Used to Be Friends: Death and the Grim Reaper knew each other before they had a falling out prior to the comic. The Grim Reaper was willing to give her a second chance after defeating her in a fight and talking things over.
  • White Mare: Death is a pale horse, as alluded in the tale of the Horsemen of the Apocalypse.
