The Family Party
is a webcomic by A-gnosis that tells the story about a family party thrown by the gods of Olympus. It is also the story where Hades first meets Persephone... Hilarity Ensues.
The Family Party provides examples of:
- Amazingly Embarrassing Parents: Rhea spends most of the story drunk, horrifying Hades and Hera.
- Apple of Discord: The God of Chaos Eris grabs a literal apple, dedicates it to herself, and throws it to set off some Disaster Dominoes in the pantheon's Big, Screwed-Up Family.
- Ear Ache: Hades pulls Hermes away to "talk" to him.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: Artemis thinks just because Hera is only the goddess of marriage who sits next to Zeus, she can beat her easily... she is wrong.
- Interrupted Intimacy: The chain of events created by Eris's Apple of Discord ends with a curtain pulled down revealing Artemis making out with Eileithyia... Hera's daughter.
- Unknown Relative: Persephone is horrified to discover Dionysus was originally Zagerus, her aborted son
