Team RAIN is a webcomic created by Neopoliitan
, based on the Rooster Teeth show RWBY. It follows the exploits of Haven Academy second-year students and painfully average huntsmen, Team RAIN, and runs parallel to the general events of RWBY while exploring a separate plot line.

Team RAIN contains examples of:
- Artificial Limbs: Tawny Bayardo has a clamp-like prosthetic left arm, but seems fairly well adjusted to these circumstances.
- Bad Guy Bar: Zenith.
- Barrier-Busting Blow: How Gardner Braith kills Kodiak.
- Carnival of Killers: The Crazy Bunch, but to a lesser extent the Braith family themselves.
- Combat Stilettos: Viola Braith wears these, as does Akane in her second outfit.
- Do Not Call Me "Paul": How Bister feels about her first name.
- Embarrassing First Name: Bister, whose first name turns out to be Periwinkle. She tells Robin not to call her by it.
- Evil Is Bigger: Otso Umber, Particularly following his transformation which places him at around twenty feet tall.
- Exposition Diagram: Robin has one of these in Arc 1, and Marron replicates it somewhat in Arc 3.
- Eye Scream:
- Robin shoots out a half-grimm Otso's eyes with her bow.
- Robin later loses her own eye to Kamala Braith's cannon blast.
- Fastball Special: Irving and Nyssa's team attack, "Black Knight".
- Flat "What": Robin gives one of these after Professor Lionheart tells her Nyssa has dropped out of Haven Academy.

- Maniac Tongue: Viola Braith. Originally something of a quirk, but becomes more pronounced the more excited she becomes from messing with people.
- Motherly Side Plait: Maera Noirette.
- Named Weapons: Like RWBY itself, characters in the Team RAIN comic name their weapons.
- Painful Transformation: Otso Umber undergoes one of these.
- Reunion Kiss: Robin and Marron.
- Shrinking Violet: Nyssa Noirette.
- Siblings in Crime: Viola and Viorel, Sterling and Zelena, Gardner, Tahlia and Kamala. All of the Braiths, really.
- The Glomp: Marron gives Robin one of these.
