This webcomic provides examples of:
- Asshole Victim: Several people are killed in absolutely gruesome ways, but more often than not, had it coming.
- Condescending Compassion: The main lesson of "A Kind KOL" is demonstrated through the titular girl helping the homeless woman. She only assists her just to make herself look good to her followers and several of the things she gives the woman are actually insulting.
- Engineered Heroics: The KOL woman attempts to push the elderly woman into the lake and then "swoop in" to save her.
- Entitled Bitch: When the KOL accidentally falls into the water, she fully expects the impoverished woman to help her. However, after she had relentlessly exploited the woman, she decides to leave her to drown.
- Jerkass Realization: The protagonist of "Skinless Parents" tries to run away from home due to being upset with having ghastly-looking parents. However, she stops when she looks at a family album and realizes that she was born without skin. Her parents sacrificed their skin to make her look normal.
- Karmic Death: The eponymous KOL meets her end when she tries to push the homeless woman into the lake and stage "saving her" for clout. Unfortunately for her, she slips and falls into the water herself. Much like the homeless woman, she was in a position where she needed help, but the woman leaves her to drown after throwing all the garbage she gave her simply to make herself look good.
