JON is a 9-page fan comic based off of Garfield by Gale Galligan. It's about Jon Arbuckle's character from a different POV. The plot is simple: Jon and Liz host a small gathering for Liz's frends. There's also a 19-page sequel, JON 2, which shows Jon teaching a workshop for students and then attending a cartoonists' convention.

This comic provides examples of:
- Demoted to Extra: Garfield and Odie are background characters.
- Noodle Incident: In the first comic, a few of the guests talk about incident that neither the audience or Jon understand.
- Slice of Life: The comics are mundane scenes in Jon's life; first feeling awkward at a gathering of Liz's old friends, then working up the courage to table at a convention.
