I Fell in Love, so I Tried Livestreaming (Koi Shita no de, Haishin Shite Mita / 恋したので配信してみた) is a 2019 web comic by Azuma Tama. Kadokawa published the series as a manga in March 2020.

Retired livestreamer Yuu Inuzuka has a hard time making friends because of his scary face, but hopes that his new year in Seishin Academy will result in a fulfilling social life. He's quickly accepted by the members of his co-ed dorm and all seems well, but he soon discovers that all of them are secretly livestreamers.

This work provides examples of:

  • Always in Class One: Averted. Only Yuu and Hakua are confirmed to be in the same class.
  • Animal Motifs: According to an extra chapter, all the dorm members have an animal associated with them. Yuu is a dog, Hakua is a rabbit, Yuzuko is a cat, Sora is an alpaca, Souta is a bat, and Vina is a white crow. Everyone except for Sora has their livestream handle based on their animal motif, though her outfit has alpaca ears.
  • Blackmail:
    • Played with when Yuu barges into Hakua's room and catches her in her Usagidon persona. She threatens to report him for entering her room without permission, but only because she's scared that he'll try to reveal her secret. Once she learns that he only entered her room because he heard her scream during a heated gameplay session, they agree to keep each other's secrets.
    • Yuzuko forces Yuu to become her slave by threatening to reveal his hobby of collecting female cosplay outfits. That hobby is actually a lie Yuu made to protect Hakua's secret, but he still has no choice but to go along with Yuzuko's blackmail anyways. Yuzuko eventually drops the blackmail when Yuu discovers her identity as Puchineko.
  • Boarding School: The series takes place in a share house / dormitory.
  • Family of Choice: Deconstructed. Hakua wants the dorm members to consider each other family, but given that they've known each other for less than a year and that they have a hidden Love Dodecahedron instilling tension among them, the rest of the dorm members don't consider themselves that close. Additionally, it's implied that Hakua wants them as a replacement for her parents, who were too busy to tend to her before they died in a car accident.
  • Gender-Equal Ensemble: The dorm has three boys and three girls.
  • Living a Double Life: Hakua, Yuzuko, Sora, Souta, and Vina all want to keep their livestreaming a secret from their peers. In Yuu's case, he's no longer livestreaming, but doesn't want anyone to find out he was once a streamer.
  • Love Dodecahedron: Hakua, Yuzuko, and Sora all have feelings for Yuu, though the three try to maintain a friendship, albeit somewhat strained. Meanwhile, Souta has feelings for Yuzuko and holds Yuu in contempt for allowing multiple potential romantic relationships to occur, fearing that he'll hurt everyone involved. The only dorm member who isn't part of this dodecahedron is Vina.
  • Snowball Lie: When Souta crossdresses in an attempt to set a Honey Trap for Yuu, Vina suggests that Sora and Yuu act as a fake couple to ward him off. This backfires because of the dorm's no romance rule and because of Sora's double life as a net idol. Vina then tries to cover this up with another lie by claiming that he confessed to Sora, thus necessitating that she forms a fake relationship with Yuu, but Yuu senses that this lie will get out of hand and properly explains the situation to the whole dorm.
