Doodling Around
is a webcomic by Colombian authors Gual and Chano.
It follows the adventures of identical twins Rina and Angélica, two junior-high students who dream of creating their own comic book. The comic is written in episodic fashion, showing slice-of-life situations the twins and her friends get into while pursuing their dreams and interacting among each other.
This comic provides examples of:
- Author Avatar: The authors themselves are identical twins. Go figure.
- Bilingual Bonus: The comic is both in English and Spanish. The characters use Spanish modisms every now and then.
- Breaking the Fourth Wall: At the end of each episode, the twins will directly look into the audience and discuss the latest events.
- In Series Nick Name: The main characters have a nickname given by their friends: The Twins, La Chiqui, Tinaru, Fiera, Umh-ba.
