The Reiwa-era Beauty Corps (and one bucktoothed comedian)
Zeroichi TV (ゼロイチTV) is a YouTube channel started in 2021, featuring the antics of the all-female talents affiliated with the Japanese agency 01familia (Zeroichi Familia), also known as the "Reiwa-era Strongest Beauty Corps" (令和の最強美女軍団). Content from this channel are discussed in the TV variety show Zeroichi Familia wa Homeraretai (ゼロイチファミリアは褒められたい Zeroichi Familia Wants to be Praised) on MBS channel, co-hosted by comedian Tetsuya Morita, and past broadcasts of that show are in turn also uploaded here. Most of the videos have English subtitles.

Not to be confused with Nippon TV daytime show Zeroichi.

These tropes want to be praised:

  • The Ace: Nashiko Momotsuki is called the agency's Absolute Ace. She's also aloof to her juniors, which she claims is because she's actually shy.
  • Amazonian Beauty: Mei Angela has videos where she practices running and high jump, and challenges other members to arm wrestling.
  • But Not Too Foreign: Mei Angela is half Filipino.
  • Fanservice Model: All of them are gravure models, even if they have other specializations.
  • Furo Scene: Naomi Majima has her own series where she and another member chat in a bathtub.
  • Haunted House: Rea Hanasaki visits a "stigmatized" apartment which previous owner committed suicide and offers "Fanservice to the dead" by having a photo session and dancing there in a Naughty Nurse Outfit. She reveals that she caught sleep paralysis for two nights after doing that.
  • Idol Singer: The videos include members of the agency's three idol groups, which names all start with a hashtag: #2i2 (pronounced "niini", or "neenee" in English), #BABABABAMBI, and #YOYOYO.
    • In their bathtub chat video, Naomi Majima points out that Kaho Mori was a member of STU48 and had proclaimed that she's done with idol work before eventually joining #YOYOYO.
  • Liquid Courage: Self-proclaimed Shrinking Violet Nashiko Momotsuki is given the challenge of talking to strangers at bars. While she can't do it at first and cries in frustration, she starts to make progress after downing several glasses of beer. She manages to chat with nine out of the required ten strangers.
  • Million to One Chance: Five girls are given a dice each and told that they can't go home until all of them roll a one simultaneously, which is a 7776 to 1 chance. Even after going at it for 20 hours and more than 7776 rolls, they don't succeed.
  • Ms. Fanservice:
    • Naomi Majima is the "Reiwa-era Mistress", who normally wears revealing clothes and claims watching porn as a hobby. She has said that several women have warned her to stay away from their boyfriends.
    • Rea Hanasaki likes to flash her cleavage randomly.
  • Office Lady: A video documents a photoshoot of Yume Hayashi with the theme "What if Yume Hayashi is an office worker?" She reveals later in the video that she actually has a day job as an accountant and has worked at the same company for six years.
  • Proud to Be a Geek:
    • Io Iori likes to gives fanservice, as she knows what fans want, being an otaku herself.
    • Nashiko Momotsuki started as a cosplay model, and is an idol and Pokémon otaku.
  • Reluctant Fanservice Girl: There's a series where five girls are to come to the office in as revealing clothes as legally possible. Even though they're all Fanservice Models, not all of them are fine with walking around town in skimpy outfits, outside the relative privacy of photoshoots.
Toumi: If I cover my legs, my chest would be exposed, and if I try to cover up my chest, my legs would show.
  • Sexy Santa Dress: Unsurprisingly worn in the Christmas-related episodes.
  • The Smart Girl: Rui Takanashi is called one as she holds a STEM degree.
    • In the 2021 Christmas gift exchange, her gift is a molecule model kit. The random recipient just happens to be Hikari Kuroki, who took 5.5 years to finish high school. Unsurprisingly it's voted the worst present, including by herself.
  • Stage Magician: Yuki Odera is primarily a magician and also does street magic.
  • "Well Done, Son" Guy: The premise of Zeroichi Familia Wants to be Praised is that the members want to be praised for their efforts, especially by co-host comedian Tetsuya Morita.
