Wambu is a YouTuber that mainly focuses on countdowns of various subjects he's fond of, encompassing a wide array of topics from Dream Friends to various horror games, and more.

He also has a series of videos on Fanfickle Entertainment called So B.I.G. (So Bad It's Good), where he reviews games with poor or mixed reception to see if the game is ''so bad it's good''. You can find it here.

• Attention Deficit... Ooh, Shiny!: To quote the man himself:
  Wambu: ...My eyes wander to the point where they're not even on my FACE half the time...
• Author Appeal: Undertale, Silent Hill 2, and to a lesser extent Kirby and Hollow Knight.
• Author Avatar: On his main channel, he uses a Chandelure as his profile picture and in the actual videos, while the thumbnails go for more simplified Litwick-like appearance. On other channels, he's represented by a Boo wearing a hat.
• Bait-and-Switch: In the #12 spot on his Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion countdown, he begins by mentioning that he feels that the game's beginning is slow, and that the specimens don't really get interesting until Specimen 4 or 5, insinuating that the spot is going to go to one of the earlier specimens, before finally giving the spot to Specimen 13, the game's penultimate specimen.
• Butt-Monkey: Otto The Otter in the Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion countdown and on a similar note in the same video is the old version of Specimen 10 which Wambu refers to as "Shitty Eel Bitch".
• Call-Back:
  • While Word of God states he doesn't enjoy these, he felt that he had to during his #1 segment on the Top 10 Scary Video Game Monsters video because he talked about The Amalgamates from Undertale already in four separate videos.
  • Wambu describes one scare in Bendy and the Ink Machine by saying, "It's fucking cardboard". The cadboard cutouts from Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion get the same treatment.
  • Wambu starts his The Legend of Zelda video with a Bait-and-Switch mentioning that Super Mario Odyssey recently came out. His Super Mario Odyssey video features guest star Specter saying "Top Zelda dungeons, let's go".
  • Defied in Top 10 Scariest Video Game Monsters, when he says, "You really thought I was going to say 'Fuck Deepnest?", which he did in Top 10 Scariest Video Game Levels.
• Chainsaw Good: His interpretation of Specimen 13 has the siren utilize a chainsaw against its prey.
• Color-Coded Emotions: His avatar tends to change colors to emphasize his points. His default color is a bright green.
• Death by Falling Over: Quite literally at the end of Top 22 Hated Video Game Characters.
• Dude, Not Funny!: Makes a preemptive use of this trope in the Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion countdown.
  Wambu: If any of you make a joke about [Specimen 11 getting the #9 spot], I'll fucking delete your comment.
• Eyeless Face: His eyes will sometimes drift away from his face in a comedic fashion.
• Funny Background Event: Specimen 9's shenanigans during his segment in the Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion countdown.
• The Gadfly: Wambu has been prone to messing with his collab partners such as turning Specter into a carrot at the end of Top 10 Undertale Moments or when he and Ed were going for their personal favorite tracks in Top 10 Mario Kart 8 Tracks and he went for Ed's #17 track, Super Bell Subway, as the number 10 track though Ed did pay him back for that by having Wambu's own #17 track, Cheep Cheep Beach, at the number 9 spot.
• Gainax Ending: The ending of Top 10 Mario Kart 8 Tracks.

• Go Mad from the Revelation: Played for Laughs in Top 10 Mario Kart 8 Tracks when Ed realizes Electrodrome isn't spelled "Electrodome"
• Heroes Love Dogs: Wambu loves dogs... almost to a fault.

• An Ice Person: If the ability to freeze others is mentioned, you can count on Wambu to mention his love of it. This is even given a bit in "[1] Abilities Ranked" where he attended an ice themed version of Alcoholics Anonymous and froze most of the other attendees with liquid nitrogen.
  Wambu: Ice in Kirby is so fun for me because it actually combines TWO of my favorite killing methods: Freezing and Hyucking! (throws a frozen Kirby with human legs which comes back around to hit him, knocking his eyes off before landing on his body)
• Inherently Funny Words: When talking about Specimen 5, he finds great amusement in it's actual name: Bab.
• Is It Something You Eat?: Mario Odyssey Kingdoms Ranked.
  Wambu: Collaborating involves this thing called "compromise", which I definitely CAN'T eat.. Can I eat it?
  Specter: You can't eat it.
  Wambu: I can't eat it.
• Leitmotif: ''Ghost Groove'' by Rom M, the same person who made the Spooky's Remixes featured in Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion Specimens Ranked.
• Living Mood Ring: While green is usually the default color for Wambu in his videos, depending on his emotions his color changes based on his emotions, such as red for anger and annoyance, blue for sadness, pink for embarrassment and yellow for when he's particularly excited.
• LOL, 69: Wambu sees the humor of giving the number 6 spot in his Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion countdown to Specimen 9.
  Wambu: That's right, I'll joke about the numbering this time^note Referring to how the number 9 spot was given to Subject 11. Sex number is funny.

  • Dunking on Otto "Eatsa Da Pizza" Otter throughout the Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion Countdown.
• Saying Sound Effects Out Loud: In his Kingdom Countdown video:
  Wambu: BWAAAAAAAAAAAAM! Oh, you hear that? That's the wrong opinion alarm.
• Self-Deprecation: Makes jabs at himself from time to time, although his legitimate mental issues can make the delivery sting a bit.
• Self-Referential Humor: Averted. He doesn't like doing it, as explained in Top 10 Scary Video Game Monsters.
  Wambu: I hate referencing myself. I like for every video to hold up in isolation, and I don't think people should have to watch previous works of mine to understand any single video.
• Subverted Rhyme Every Occasion: Occurs when talking about Specimen 4/Ringu, much to Wambu's displeasure.
  Wambu: So no hate, my ass got ate, for a while it was great, hopefully you can relate, and now we move on to number - NINE! Come on, man, I had a good thing goin' there, it was a good flow, and now it's fucked up! Nine? Fucking NI-
• Surprisingly Realistic Outcome: At one point in the Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion countdown, Wambu holds up a wooden stop-sign as a spoiler warning, only for his flames to light the sign on fire.
• Surreal Humor: Wambu's editing style in general veers into the weird, but his April Fools lists kicks it up to eleven, acting as off-the-wall parodies of late-2000/early 2010 countdowns with overused topics such as Overrated Games and Hated Characters. Entries are always out of order and feature YouTube Poop style editing.
• Take That!: During an April Fools collab list with Specter, Wambu reveals that he has an alarm that detects potentially bad countdowns which he describes as being about to "ScrewAttack [a] countdown" which "Specter"^note  Actually a Temmie disguised as her trying to tank her reputation by making a deliberately awful countdown. lampshades and ends up proving that alarm right.
• Technicolor Fire: Moreso than the Pokemon his avatar is based on: It's usually green.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: invoked One reason why Wambu considers "Turnabout Big Top" the worst Ace Attorney case was that it had the potential to show how the death of Russell Berry would have impacted those close to him, but none of the characters seemed to care at all about his death, being mainly focused on themselves and who will marry Regina.
• Visual Pun: When talking about Specimen 9 in his Spooky's countdown video, he reinforces the humor in having it in the 6th spot by putting two Specimen 9s next to each other, the first one upside down.
