Vestige of Ophiuchus is an Actual Play D&D 5e game broadcast most Saturdays on Nat19's Twitch Nat19Official

Its videos are also archived on their YouTube channel here.

The Story Focuses on the adventures and exploits of the members of "The Highest Standard"; a guild in the world of Somnus Domina

The Dungeon Master is: Logan Laidlaw

The Players are: Aaron Robert Parnell, Braden "Bread" Alexander, Carrie Johnston, Cody Hughett, Hayden Daviau, Matthew "Izzy" Kok and Spencer Downs

Vestige of Ophiuchus provides examples of:

  • Acoustic License: Occasionally lampshaded by the cast, where the cast can somehow speak at conversational volume from over 40+ feet away, cool monologues being answered with "What?"
    • Played Straight: Mostly during Boss Fights. Such as the party talking over the sounds of Summergrass being slowly destroyed by a divine superweapon.
  • Action Girl: Lexie, Avi and Fenris all being prime examples, though nearly all women encountered by The Highest Standard are perfectly suited to the role.
  • All Your Base Are Belong to Us: Offscreen - When the Drow twins burn down The Highest Standards Estate, leaving little but rubble and Almond the cow, leading to the party Watching Troy Burn
  • Always a Bigger Fish: When The Faineant Saves the party from The Tenebros, and debatably again when The Faineant saves Merihim from his imminent death at the hands of Satsumaru.
  • After-Action Patch-Up: Fairly Frequently, though the wounds aren't always so mild. Often Occurs with Fenris healing someone tenderly while they chat.
    • Merihim and Avianna generally have their most honest talks during a form of this.
  • Bad Habits: Literally Sister Valdis; Although nuns don't seem to exist in Somnus Domina.
  • Band of Brothers: The Highest Standard (generally) become very close quite quickly due to their frequent near death experiences.
  • Bloodless Carnage: Most of the violence in Honokuni, since blood cannot exist outside the body there.
  • Back from the Dead: Invoked Many times, with Raleigh being Resurrected by The Silver Esper being an Early example.
  • BadassLongcoat: Raleigh wears a notable long coat with inner crimson lining, in offical artwork being blown around him invoking this.
  • Badass Adorable: Lexie! being an absolutely adorable Fox Girl and also one of the most highly damaging members of the party (when she can manage to hit)
  • Catchphrase: Raleigh's two most common phrases being adding some 'pepper' to an attack and the Running Gag of "Now, I know what this looks like".
  • The Cavalry: "The Suicide Squawk," Iocain, and other friends all showing up to help the heroes fight The Tenebros
  • Carnival of Killers: The Frostclaw - sent by Satsumaru to capture Merihim and Fenris.
    • Iocaine & Scabbard briefly pretending to be after the same bounty.
  • Casual Danger Dialogue: Merihim very frequently is this. but often the entire party can react to severe danger casually, until the stakes are raised.
  • The Charmer: Merihim all the way, Flirting with Fenris, Lexie, Scandal, Avianna, Argo, Several antagonists, the list goes on. Debatably he sometimes dips into just being The Casanova.
  • Childhood Friend Romance: Played straight, Avianna and Rory have known each other since childhood and are teased constantly about totally wanting to smooch.
  • City of Adventure: Summergrass! most of the parties early exploits revolve around the city. although in 5e all cities are technically this
  • Clean Cut: Many swords in the show, but notably Satsumaru's Vorpal Sword, cutting a dragons head off with ease.
  • Clockwork Prediction: Merihim guessing at the return of Jikogusaiga moments before his unveiling.
  • Deal with the Devil: Raleigh's patron Morganite, who has always come across as suspicious and later with questioning an androsphinx, Raleigh has very plausible doubts about this contract of patronage he is currently under.
  • Ethical Slut: Merihim, a very openly sexual individual, will openly flirt with most people, however, it usually stays there unless they pursue the matter. Merihim also stops flirting with any he perceives as having wronged him or his friends... usually
  • Half-Human Hybrid: Raleigh is a Dhampir, having an inhuman mother and assumedly human father.
    • Merihim: being a Tiefling is a human with demonic/infernal blood
  • In-Series Nickname: Most of the party refers to Fenris as Fenny and Avianna as Avi. Quintus is sometimes shortened to Quin.
  • Mystical Plague: Amneasis is a Magical Illness that steals the memories of the afflicted before eventually killing them. Spread by a miasma that erupts from underground or shed by those infected making it also a Fog of Doom.
  • Puppeteer Parasite: Years ago Raleigh initially searched for a gift for his father, coming across a book and was then possessed for a time, committing acts like potentially causing a great conflict within the Land away.
  • Put on a Bus: Raleigh left the Highest Standard during session 51 being replaced with Flux player wise, and has not been seen since.
  • Unusual Ears: Lexie, Scandal, Al'xande and all other Kits'Adria have long fluffy ears, somewhere between a fox and a rabbit.
  • Vigilante Man: Avianna, before meeting The Highest Standard, Avianna was a Vigilante protecting the poorer people of Summergrass.
