Undertale Against Humanity is a video series in which the Undertale characters play Cards Against Humanity. Hilarity Ensues.
Be warned that the series has heavy amounts of Vulgar Humor, Accidental Innuendo (and not so accidental), and characters needing Brain Bleach. Definitely NSFW.
The series has 5 episodes, with Episode 5 split into two parts. The creator has said that Episode 5 part 2 may be the last episode, but they may come back to it eventually (though it won't be for "a long long time").
Episode 1, Episode 2, Episode 3, Episode 4, Episode 5 (Part 1), Episode 5 (Part 2).
This series provides examples of:
- Bait-and-Switch:
- Mettaton plays with this when he plays "Climaxing at Asriel's funeral". First he embraces the card's meaning, then says that it means reaching the climax of a performance. When asked if he was performing at Asriel's funeral, he responds with "Performing sexual acts, yes!"
- At one point, Chara leaves to deal with Lesser Dog. When they return and say, "Lesser Dog is in a better place.", Alphys starts crying. Chara then elaborates, "I meant their cage, oh my God!"
- Blatant Lies: Toriel attempts to tell Chara, Mettaton, Asriel, and Papyrus how children are born in this manner. Mettaton decided to get Asgore for the truth, with... questionable results.
- Body Horror: When the topic of Asgore's "spear" comes up, Alphys has this to say:"Is it three-pronged?"
- Brain Bleach: A common response. Given that the cast are often reading about awful things being done to them, it's perfectly understandable.Chara: MY EYES!
Papyrus: I wish I had eyes to rip out of my sockets! - …But He Sounds Handsome: The card "CDawgVA's rumbling, orgasmic voice" is picked as a winning card by Asgore... who is voiced in this series by CDawgVA. This does not go unnoticed by the rest of the cast.
- Butt-Monkey: Poor Asriel. Many of the cards have inappropriate things either about him or done to him, which ends up traumatizing him once he joins the game himself in Episode 3. Although he does win both games that he appears in.
- Toriel doesn't fare much better, considering that she's mentioned in many of the more... questionable cards. Combine that with her generally higher standards, and she spends quite a bit of her screentime horribly offended/squicked by something or another.
- Flowey ends up becoming this in Episode 5. Given who he is, it's not that big of a surprise.
- Children Are Innocent: Played straight and later subverted with Asriel, subverted with Chara.
- Covert Pervert: Alphys absolutely does not write dirty fanfic about the rest of the crew, and her defensiveness when Papyrus suggests checking out her browser history is not suspicious at all.
- Even Asriel has his moments, such as filling in a blank card with "Chara licking chocolate off Asriel's tiny goat horns."
Chara: I am definitely kink-shaming this one! (Beat) ASRIEL! - Did You Just Flip Off Cthulhu?: Papyrus is constantly mocking Flowey.
- Dirty Old Man: Asgore, big time.
- Do Not Adjust Your Set: "Guess what, you fools! It's your favorite: Flowey the Flower!"
- Establishing Character Moment/R-Rated Opening: The very first line of the series, said by Asgore right before the title card.
- Even Evil Has Standards: Chara, despite how they usually act, expresses disgust whenever the really horrible cards pop up. Flowey, too, especially when the horrible cards are about him.
- Despite his incredibly Jerkass personality, Flowey is arguably one of the least perverted, if not the least perverted characters playing the game as a whole.
Flowey: YOU'RE ALL FILTHY SINNERS! - Everyone Has Standards: Asgore regularly makes lewd remarks about Toriel during his appearances, but even he draws the line at masturbating to Toriel's Death scene.
- Mettaton admits that Asgore's explanation of how Asriel was born was more traumatizing than he had intended it to be.
- Gasshole: Flowey is constantly burping.
- Get Out!: In Episode 3, Asgore bursts into the game a few times, only to get kicked out by Mettaton. Asgore gets his revenge at the beginning of Episode 4.
- The Ghost: Sans and Frisk ARE mentioned in the series and in the cards. But through all 5 episodes, they don't have a vocal or appearing role at all.
- I Hate Past Me: Flowey has no respect for Asriel.
- I'll Pretend I Didn't Hear That: Near the end of Episode 4, Toriel gets the rest of the players to ignore Asgore.
- I'm a Humanitarian: Whenever Frisk dies, Flowey eats the body, disgusting Chara. Papyrus is okay with this, as he believes that not eating the bodies would be "wasting them".
- Ignoring by Singing: Asriel's response to Asgore talking about Toriel's vagina in Episode 4.
- Innocence Lost: Papyrus loses his innocence throughout the series.
- The Internet Is for Porn: Or at least Tumblr is, according to Chara. Especially yiffing.
- Narcissist: Mettaton, to the point (in EP. 3) where he gets turned on to the idea of him having sex with himself.
- Nobody Poops: Alphys and Asgore discuss this in Episode 4 when the former asks if monsters pee. In Episode 5, however, Flowey manages to make Papyrus, and later Alphys, soil themselves.
- Noodle Incident: Asgore recounts plenty throughout the series.
- Only Sane Man: Toriel, arguably. Though given that she's playing with Asgore, Mettaton, Chara, Asriel, and Papyrus, the title really isn't that hard to obtain.
- Not So Above It All: She does, however, have her own moments.
- Preemptive Apology: Chara apologizes profusely to Toriel before playing "Watching your mother adopt other people's children." on a black card related to Asriel.
- Put on a Bus: Undyne and Alphys from Episodes 1 and 2.
- The Bus Came Back: Alphys in the Episode 5 2-Parter series.
- Refuge in Audacity: Pretty much everything Mettaton says and every card Mettaton plays. If everyone else is reaching for the Brain Bleach, it's probably his doing.
- Running Gag: If there's a dirty card about Toriel, Asgore will either play it, vote for it, or comment on it.
- Screw Yourself: One of the cards used is "Mettaton EX raping Mettaton NEO." Mettaton himself is aroused by this.
- Take That!: When Asgore picks "CDawgVA's rumbling, orgasmic voice" as a winning card, everyone else starts chiming in about how he's a terrible person.
- Think of the Children!: Toriel tries. She tries so very hard. Given that this is Cards Against Humanity, it doesn't exactly work.
- Threat Backfire: Papyrus eats Flowey's friendliness pellets for breakfast!
- Troubling Unchildlike Behavior: Chara is this in spades, from being excited about the thought of killing everyone to knowing a lot about the darker sides of the Internet. Although Asriel isn't any better.
- Unexplained Recovery: Somehow, Chara and Asriel are alive and well despite what happened to them in canon. To make things weirder, Asriel then gets replaced by Flowey in Episode 5...
- Flowey does all but explicitly state that he's a Dimensional Travelernote , so maybe the Flowey we see in Episode 5 is just a mirror universe counterpart to the Asriel seen in Episodes 3 and 4, rather than being the same individual. Maybe. Nobody goes out of their way to clarify the matter.
