Tricky was once an Eldritch reality-warping Egyptian deity named Nephasis that once brought calamity on the planet. Unlike others of her kind, she lacked an intrinsic element, which led to her ostracisation. Eventually, this rejection brewed a bitterness that drove her to find an element of her own. During her travels, she was tricked by a group of bandits to help steal a cursed relic. She didn't know that the relic had so much power, so she went mad and started a battle she eventually lost. She was left for dead, but a wandering old woman, who became her foster grandmother, found her and nursed her back to health. Tricky regained consciousness, but she had lost all of her memories. She eventually sought to reform herself and regain her lost powers.

- Amnesiac Hero: After a battle she eventually lost, Tricky was found by a wandering old woman, who became a foster grandmother. She regained her consciousness, but not her memories.
- Ancient Egypt: Her entire backstory, character design, symbols, background music, and powers harken back to that era.
- Animal Lover: Trickywi is incredibly enamored by all things animal... save for eight-legged creepy crawlies.
- Animal Motif: Even without her harpy dragon-esque background, Tricky has often been compared to a bird given both her inquisitive nature and extremely distinctive bird-like screech.
- Attention Deficit... Ooh, Shiny!: Is very excitable and very easily distracted by random things, even while streaming.
- Beautiful All Along: Like Yuzu, Trickywi is one of the few VTubers who isn't shy in showing her real-life face. This makes sense as she was a live streamer before jumping into VTubing, so she has no qualms if her face was shown, much to Numi's panic attack when that actually happened. And yes, she is quite pretty.
- Berserk Button: It is very rare and very hard to piss off someone considered a human Golden Retriever, but one thing that consistently makes her angry is bullies, which makes sense given her past experience with it (more of which can be read in the YMMV page).
- Beware the Nice Ones: She is among one of the nicest and most open-minded VTubers, and is willing to show she cares for others, but she can be quite a Competition Freak and has a strong dislike for bullies.
- Black Eyes of Crazy: She has black eyes and went completely mad according to her backstory. By now, her craziness has been mostly replaced by ADHD.
- Black Sheep: According to her lore, as a deity, Trickywi was rejected by the other gods for not having a divine domain to call her own. This may reflect the real Tricky's history of getting bullied at school, explaining her Berserk Button above.
- Brain Bleach: Tricky listened to an AI sing the incredibly sexually explicit CPR song in Filian's voice. She immediately stopped when the voice moaned, knowing that this is something that the real Filian would never do.
- Cute, but Cacophonic: As adorable as she is, it's not recommended to watch her while wearing headphones, because she can go really high-pitched when excited.
- Cute Monster Girl: An attractive Egyptian harpy sporting draconic features.
- Destructo-Nookie: As chronicled in this video, when she was briefly in a friends-with-benefits situation with fellow VTuber Baken, they accidentally destroyed their bed in the process. An attempt to return it to the Lowe's they bought it from under the pretense of it being defective was not successful; the associates knew right away what happened and just congratulated them.
- The Ditz: Her easily excitable persona means that she has no idea what is happening half the time.
- Egyptian Mythology: While she does not explicitly correspond to any specific creature of Egyptian legends, she is sorta sphinxlike.

- Genki Girl: Possibly THE most Genki Girl in the entirety of the VTuber space. Trickywi's personality is often compared to a Golden Retriever on caffeinated speed, and it is not uncommon for her model to fly all over the place whenever she gets excited. And she is rarely not excited.
