Thresher
is a short horror film by Mike Diva. The story is about a man apparently locked inside an extravagantly furnished room trying to puzzle his way past a number of locks chaining the main door shut. What awaits him outside, however, is not the freedom he was probably hoping for.
This film provides examples of:
- Battle in the Center of the Mind: What it turns out the unnamed protagonist is actually involved in. . . . He loses.
- Mad Doctor: It appears the protagonist is the subject of some kind of psychic experiment.
- Eldritch Abomination: Several of these are pursuing the unnamed protagonist.
- Tally Marks on the Prison Wall: Something that might be this can be briefly seen in one shot. He appears to have been there a few weeks. Since this is all inside his own head, there’s no telling how much time has passed outside.
