The MANLY Adventures of Mokey Mokey is a series of Videos created by Yu Gi Oh 4 Real Men, where the Titular Joke Character from [1] is seen defeating various decks from Dragon Rulers, as well as many Tier 2 or lower decks trough replays on Devpro. It began as a 3000 subscriber Special and spans a total of 8 episodes.
The MANLY Adventures of Mokey Mokey provides examples of the following:
- Asskicking Leads to Leadership: Averted, despite having a larger ATK stat and being in the same deck, the series is about Mokey Mokey and not Keymace
- Badass Boast: Mokey Mokey has an Intermission with one between each of his duels.
- Comically Invincible Hero: It´s a white puff square that doesn´t use one of the very few (and not very good either) support cards it has, trying to prove that he is so manly he doesn´t need it (according to the "lore") so it´s an Enforced Trope. Crosses over into Showy Invincible Hero, when he manages to Force Shooting Quasar Dragon of all cards into Defense Position.
- Defeat Means Friendship: Downplayed. Most of final opponents from the last episode say they would love to accompany Mokey Mokey, but unfortunately can´t, except for Pikeru, who offers to join him, but is rejected. However they do always give him a card they played in the duel and that will play a bigger role in the episode.
- Excuse Plot: Not that anyone complains.
- I Am Not Left-Handed: Defied as Mokey Mokey always fights left-handed on purpose to prove how manly he is.
- Iconic Item: Amulet of Ambition, which he uses to defeat high-leveled monsters.
- The Magic Poker Equation: Averted, as the replays are cherry picked instead based on how interesting they are (As said by
Word of God). However Mokey Mokey is always in the Players starting hand. - Love at First Punch: Implied with Pikeru. Unlike the others, that for some personal reasons cannot join, she offers to be a member of his Team. Though it ends the same as usual
- Ragtag Bunch of Misfits: Mokey Mokey, a white puff square Honest, an angel, Number 54 Lionheart, a lion, Ghostrick Dullahan, and many more strange creatures make up Mokey Mokey´s deck.
- Stronger Than They Look: The Series´ Strictly Formula consists of one replay where Mokey Mokey easily defeats Dragon Rulers (Spellbooks for the last video), one where he defeats a Tier 2 deck in slightly less of a curb-stomp and one where he has an epic back and forth with a very low Tier deck.
- Underdogs Never Lose: Inverted. Mokey Mokey is no Underdog. Don´t ever call Mokey Mokey the Underdog.Do you want to find out what happens when he gets angry?
