"Ah man!"

WARNING. The following is violently improvised.

Sorry (or the Sorry Boys as they're called outside the videos) is a group YouTube improv comedy channel owned by TommyInnit, Wilbur Soot, Ranboo, Slimecicle, and Philza. Each video has the group in a different and wacky scenario, whether it be in an art studio creating new "masterpieces", a cult worshiping random doodles in a notebook, or even in a courthouse defending Tommy against allegations of eating Phil's sausage roll.

On March 30th, 2024, it was announced the group would go on a hiatus due to "certain circumstances".

The group also created a second channel, Very Sorry for extra scenes and bits that were cut from the main videos.

    List of videos

Tropes:

  • Action Bomb: In "We Robbed A Bank", in the fourth plan, Charlie / The Beast reveals that he is in fact a bomb and the team uses him to intimidate the people in the bank. The plan fails when the hostages steal their guns and the Beast explodes from fear.
  • Ad Hominem: In court, Wilbur does everything he can to make Phil look bad.
Wilbur: You must admit there's nothing better than a succulent sausage roll.
    Phil: Pretty good, yeah.
Wilbur: Yeah? What else do you like, coal mining?
  • Affably Evil: The Book Club Cult in "We Started A Cult" appears to be a Religion of Evil, worshiping "The Dark Lord", treating a book with random and possibly demonic scribbles as sacred texts, and performing human sacrifices. They are also, for the most part, very chill and friendly with others. At the end of the video, Ranboo, the leader, is horrified when Wilbur kills Charlie and then himself, saying that this was supposed to a LARPing book club and not an actual cult.
  • All for Nothing: In "We Robbed A Bank", after five whole attempts, the team finally manages to get to the vault without the alarms going off or the hostages breaking free. Unfortunately, all the team finds is a QR code to the Flappy Bird app.
  • And There Was Much Rejoicing: In "We Held A Funeral For Our Alive Friend...", while they act somewhat sad about it, the rest of the Sorry boys are happy to see Tommy go, with them poorly handling his body and burial, listing off things they hated about him, discussing his "death" as a joke, and even trying to ensure that he goes straight to hell by paying off the priest. It doesn't help that the very alive Tommy hears all of this.
  • Attending Your Own Funeral: Tom is carried in a closed casket to his funeral where the rest of the group believe he's actually dead and act like they can't see or hear Tommy, leaving him confused and upset as they insult him.
  • Bare-Handed Puppetry: In "We Went To Court", the witness that Wilbur calls to the stand is a hand puppet named Mr. Handy. Charlie is delighted, but Phil is unamused. Later, the "Where Are They Now?" Epilogue reveals he's in an acapella group and living in Los Angeles so apparently he wasn't just Wilbur goofing around.
  • Black Comedy Burst: "We Went To Court" is lighthearted goofy Courtroom Episode up till the "Where Are They Now?" Epilogue at the end, which reveals that a majority of the group has committed a lot of major crimes that weren't brought up before and have been sentenced to multiple years in prison, except for Phil who has been sentenced to death by guillotine for neglecting his sausage roll.
  • Blatant Lies:
    • In "We Went To Court":
      • When Tommy admits to taking a bite of Phil's sausage roll, Wilbur states that he's a second-language English speaker and doesn't know what he's saying. Phil calls him out on this.
      • In the extra scenes, where Charlie plays the accused with a long list of crimes, Ranboo's (acting as his defense) opening statement is that he's from the future, where everything that he did is legal.
    • In "Day 1 of Sorry":
      • During the car ride to the courthouse, Wilbur states that a random pier in Europe is where the Titanic was launched and where the Eiffel Tower is.
  • Cardboard Prison: Lampshaded a lot in "We Went To Prison". There are only two guards in the prison, and they're rather incompetent at their jobs. At one point, both of them are each dealing with one prisoner, leaving Tommy all alone without supervision. He himself questions why he has not just escaped already. He eventually does, running through what the narration describes as, "weirdly unlocked doors".
  • Chewbacca Defense: Attorney Wilbur's tactics in court are this and nothing else. He doesn't even have evidence.
  • Courtroom Antics: The entirety of "We Went to Court", is this trope to a tee. Of course, that's what you get when you have Wilbur as a drunk defense attorney and Charlie as the judge presiding over a case about a stolen sausage roll.
  • Danger Takes a Backseat: The ending of "We Survived A Zombie Apocalypse": Tommy and Ranboo escape the zombies using the Uber that Charlie called in his final moments, only for a zombie Wilbur to pop out from the backseat and attack them.
  • Deliberately Monochrome: For Chapter 1, the transitions between scenes/sections in each video are marked by a black and white still frame of the last shot with the title of the new scene.
  • Documentary Episode: "We Started A Cult" is this trope crossed with Found Footage Films.
  • Easily Forgiven: In "We Went To Prison", Phil allows Wilbur to be released, even though he burned down multiple churches and is obviously very anxious to burn down more.
  • Episode of the Dead: "We Survived A Zombie Apocalypse" involves our heroes trying to survive a mass zombie outbreak. Only Tommy and Ranboo make it out by calling an Uber but are then met by a zombified Wilbur who was in the backseat.
  • Everything Is an Instrument: It’s not often that one can play Sweet Child O' Mine (amongst other songs) using their own lung, but apparently Charlie can during the Illegal Surgery video. It must be seen to be believed.
  • Extreme Omnivore: In the surgery video, when Phil, Tommy, and Ranboo cut open Charlie, they find weird items inside him such as a signed copy of Hairspray (1988) on DVD, an arm of a baby doll, and an entire of box of Choco Boys, box included.
  • Forced Transformation: In "We Survived A Zombie Apocalypse", apparently, Phil's wife was turned into a golf club after she contracted Geolf.
  • Found Footage Films: "We Started A Cult" is filmed like this as a homage to these types of horror films.
  • Frivolous Lawsuit: The reason Tommy's on trial in "We Went To Court"? Phil sued him for eating his sausage roll. The fact that Tommy (and the other character) are under threat of going to prison or worse also makes this a case of Felony Misdemeanor.
  • Great Escape: In "We Went To Prison", Wilbur returns under the guise of a prison inspector to help Tommy escape. His plan has Tommy stealing Charlie's gun and shooting Wilbur. In the chaos, Tommy runs away through many "weirdly unlocked doors" and escapes the prison, before deciding to rob a bank.
  • Groin Attack: In "We Became Pro Wrestlers", Charlie does to Tommy during one of their fights. He gets him back in the final battle.
  • Heist Episode: "We Robbed A Bank" is Exactly What It Says on the Tin, where the group tries to rob a bank to help their financial troubles. After each failed attempt, they brainstorm a new plan using what they learned.
  • I Have a Family: During the gang's third attempt at robbing a bank, one of their hostages that Tommy is terrorizing says he has a wife. Tommy's response?
Tommy: She's my wife now! (Evil Laugh)
  • Insistent Terminology: In "We Went To Prison", Wilbur is locked up for committing arson, or he calls it: "liberal demolition".
  • Literal Metaphor: Twice in the surgery video, Charlie repeatedly says he has the Dark Dog in him. He actually does have a tiny black dog plushie inside of him. Later, Phil finds that Charlie has somehow put a padlock on his heart. When he asks him about it, Charlie says why he doesn't have the key to it, or the key to his heart.
  • Meatgrinder Surgery: What would you expect from a title such as "We Performed Illegal Surgery on Our Friend"? In this video, Tommy, Phil, and Ranboo take a page out of the Medic's book and cut Charlie down the middle in order to find "the funny". Vital organs, as well as many other bizarre items, are torn out of his body, thrown everywhere, and stuffed back in, and Charlie (who is very awake throughout all this) is perfectly fine throughout most of it. In fact, Charlie being... well, Charlie only makes the experience even weirder.
  • Mister Seahorse: Halfway through "We Performed Illegal Surgery on Our Friend", Charlie gets a phone call from inside of him and reveals he's pregnant with twins, later triplets.
  • Now, Buy the Merchandise: In the surgery video, the first "child" that Charlie births is one of his Slime plushies from Slime Story. Charlie takes a second advertising his website, much to the confusion of the others.
  • Overly Long Gag: The latter half of "We Held A Funeral For Our Alive Friend..." is just the Sorry Boys (minus Tommy) driving in complete silence for nearly seven minutes before Charlie finally breaks the silence with "He was That Guy".
  • Paper-Thin Disguise: In "We Went To Prison", Charlie forces Ranboo to give him his uniform and claims that Ranboo is actually him. Both Phil and Tommy are fooled. Additionally, Wilbur later returns under the guise of a prison inspector and no one recognizes him until he takes off his sunglasses.
  • Place Worse Than Death: In the beginning of "We Survived A Zombie Apocalypse":
Wilbur: It's worse than you could ever imagine. (...) We're in Portsmouth.
    Tommy: NOOOOOOOO!
  • Prison Episode: The second episode, "We Went To Prison", with Tommy, Wilbur, and Charlie as the prisoners, and Phil and Ranboo as the guards.
  • Pro Wrestling Episode: "We Became Pro Wrestlers", with Charlie as Chunk Slimgo, the All-American Face, fighting against Tommy as Tom Frogson, the British Foreign Wrestling Heel from the North (even though they likely filmed in the UK), with Ranboo and Phil as their respective coaches.
  • Rapid-Fire Fisticuffs: In "We Became Pro Wrestlers", Tommy, after eating a strength-inducing sausage roll, performs this on Charlie, ending with a Groin Attack.
  • Reaction Shot: Parodied. In "We Performed Illegal Surgery on Our Friend", while Tommy is plunging his face into Charlie's organs to find his Dark Dog, Phil and Ranboo are off to the side making shocked faces to another camera.
  • Reverse Psychology Backfire: In "We Went to Prison", when Phil states that the prisoners can't go into the TV room, Charlie not-so-subtly says that he didn't want to anyway. (wink) Phil then allows Tommy to go in and orders Charlie to stay behind.
  • Screw the Rules, I Have Money!: In "We Went To Court", Ranboo's "evidence" against Tommy is a Google Play gift card for Judge Charlie.
  • Shaking the Rump: "Tail Whip", one of Charlie's fighting moves in "We Became Pro Wrestlers", is just him wiggling his behind at his opponent. He apparently can't stop when he starts it.
  • Shout-Out:
    • "We Went To Prison" has a couple to The Shawshank Redemption. Wilbur quotes the film a few times (which Charlie lampshades), but the largest reference to it is the narration over Tommy's escape parodying Red's narration.
    • In "We Robbed A Bank", the fifth and final plan to rob the bank where they take everything they learned from their past mistakes is called "Groundhog Day".
    • In the same video, when they finally get to the vault, the group starts singing the Jurassic Park theme.
    • In "We Started A Cult", Charlie (playing a cop) says his partner is named Officer Blart.
  • Shut Up, Kirk!: In "We Robbed A Bank", when the gang finally get to the vault but only find a code to the Flappy Bird app, Charlie / The Beast says they don't need the money or the bird, and that the real treasure was them being together. Wilbur promptly shoots the Beast in the head.
  • Skip the Anesthetic: In the beginning of "We Performed Illegal Surgery on Our Friend", Charlie refuses to be put under by any medience. Tommy takes the opportunity to inhale a bunch of it himself.
  • Spoof Aesop: In "We Became Pro Wrestlers", Tommy asks Phil if he should really kill Charlie in a death match. Phil has this to offer.
Phil: Killing might be wrong, but money, money speaks volumes.
Tommy: Hear that kids? Killing is okay, provided the price is right!
  • Sudden Videogame Moment: There's a lot of these in "We Became Pro Wrestlers", with Street Fighter-style health bars appearing whenever Charlie and Tommy get into a fight or achievements or moves being unlocked whenever someone does the most simple actions. Charlie often invokes this himself, saying things like he needs four "slime coins" to continue.
  • Swapped Roles: Halfway through the Prison video, Charlie steals Ranboo's uniform and makes him put on his prison garb, making Charlie a guard for the rest of the video and Ranboo a prisoner.
  • Taken During the Ending: In the ending of "We Started A Illegal Food Truck", the Sorry Burger truck gets towed away with the kitchen staff inside and Tommy chasing after them.
  • That Was Objectionable: Used constantly in "We Went To Court".
Wilbur: Your honor, my client has never even tasted the sweet supple porky juice of a sausage roll touching his tongue.
Ranboo: Objection. It's made from a cow.
  • They Would Cut You Up: In "We Performed Illegal Surgery on Our Friend", the team's goal for cutting open Charlie to get "the funny" that is in him. Charlie has other plans.
  • "Where Are They Now?" Epilogue: "We Went To Court" ends with the following explaining what happen to everyone after the trial:
Tom was found guilty of theft, perjury, and 7 counts of aggravated assult. He is currently serving 23 years in prison.
Phil was later found to be in woeful neglect of his sausage roll and was sentenced to death. He will be killed via guillotine on Thursday the 2nd of April 2026.
Charlie, better known in criminal circles as "Das Wolpertinger" was found guilty of impersonating a judge, six counts of boy boiling, one count of baby pushing and eighteen counts of drying frogs. He is currently serving six consecutive life sentences.
Ranboo was mistakenly admitted to a veterinary hospital specializing in worms. He has since been cured of his worms.
Wilbur was found guilty of arson and sentence to 15 years of prison. He was found dead three months later in his apartment awaiting transportation. One week later he found alive again after coroners confirmed the body actually belonged to an elderly Scottish woman. Wilbur is now behind bars.
Mr Handy went on to have an illustrious career in an acapella group knowns as "Bops Charming". He has been living in Los Angeles, California, since July 2024.
  • You No Take Candle: Charlie, or as he's called in the video, The Beast talks like this in "We Robbed The Bank".
  • Zombie Infectee: Wilbur is one in "We Survived A Zombie Apocalypse". Early on, he has a scar that he claims is just a unrelated injury and gets more feverish as the group goes on. As one point, it seems like he already turned and joins in a large mob of zombies, but it was just a trick so he could get past them. Charlie later catches on to his condition and snaps Will's neck before he can turn. It's in vain, as Wilbur returns zombified at the tail end of the video and attacks the last survivors, Tommy and Ranboo.
