Tropes:

  • Acquitted Too Late: Due to Jim Jum dying of fall damage when Wilbur tried to free him from being forever hanged, Wilbur has to acquit him posthumously.
  • Clear Their Name: Someone on Twitch manages to do this for Jim Jum in the finale.
  • Cliffhanger: Episode 2 ends with Wilbur asking the Sky Gods if they're asking him to kill New Milo.
  • Dead Guy Junior: Wilbur names his second fish 'New Milo' after the original Milo fell into the void.
  • Didn't Think This Through: Wilbur gets a block of Orange Concrete Powder early in the first episode and tries to use it as a building block... and watches it plummet into the void because Concrete Powder is subject to gravity.
  • Fate Worse than Death: For the murder of Barnaby, Jim Jum is sentenced to forever hang in the sky.
  • Human Sacrifice: Or fish sacrifice, as Wilbur tosses his puffer fish in a bucket as an offer to the Sky Gods.
  • Irony:
    • The item Wilbur gets after Milo's death? Another fish.
    • Wilbur spawns a rabbit in the second episode. It doesn't move and Wilbur says he's "being quite safe." Immediately after saying that, the rabbit jumps to its death.
  • Previously on…: Every episode (with the exception of the first and finale) starts with a "Previously on Skyblock Randomiser" screen
  • Miscarriage of Justice: The twitch chat believed this to be the case in Jim Jum being sentenced to eternally hang for Barnaby's death. They were right.
  • Undignified Death: How Wilbur views Jim Jum's death.
