— The description of her Youtube channel

"Seafoam Kitten's ASMR" is a Youtube channel that has been active since 2016. Their channel has both conventional ASMR videos (such as those revolving around certain triggers), as well as quirky ASMR videos that revolve around distinctive and interesting characters.

This channel provides examples of:

  • Animate Inanimate Object: One of the products the Tingle Dealer sells is a talking stuffed whale named James, who whispers to it's owner.
  • Back-Alley Doctor: Doctor Raspberry Fritter operates in a facility without anesthetic, or a nurse.
  • Bad Liar: Ember
    • In the "Taming a Tsundere Dragon Girl", Ember nibbles on the viewer and breathes "love flames" insisting that she is merely demonstrating and she does not have any affection for the viewer.
    • In "Patching You Up" Ember insists the Christmas, along with Human holidays, is stupid. When the viewer points out she has a little hat on her head, she takes it off and insists that it is nothing.
  • Bite of Affection: Ember explains to the viewer that dragons show affection through nibbling. She then does this, insisting that she is merely demonstrating and she does not have any affection for the viewer.
  • Black Comedy: Many of the videos involving Dr Raspberry Fritter are made of this, such as this line from "ASMR - HEWWO? ~ The Worst Dentist Ever | Relaxing Dental Cleaning & Extraction ~"
Doctor Raspberry Fritter: Anaesthetic? Sowwy, anaesthetic machine bwoke.
  • Blue-and-Orange Morality: Doctor Raspberry Fritter shows this. The bill she gives us after our dentist appointment is "one arm and one leg". This appears to be literal.
    • Fay does not like plants, and believes they have evil plans in mind.
  • Casanova Wannabe: The viewer was this in the backstory of "Tsundere Dragon Patches You Up", trying to flirt with other dragons using Ember's techniques only gets us slashed and burned.
  • Cynic–Idealist Duo: Zelenia and Fay, as Zelenia clearly sees humans as a threat to her species, and is very suspicious of them, while Fay sympathises with the humans and advocates for "Earthling Rights".
  • Fake Interactivity: The various characters carry on one sided conversations with the viewer, with the assumption that we're answering back.
  • Free the Frogs: Fay decides to become an Earthling Rights Activist and negotiates with Zelenia to help free humans from Zelenia's more sadistic experiments. Considering Zelenia is still capable of erasing humans' memories, Fay may not be entirely successful.
  • Friend to Bugs: Fay and Zelenia claim they can communicate with bugs and bacteria and this is why they don't have to do things like bathe as often as humans. It inadvertently starts an alien apocalypse when bugs get loose on Earth and begin taking over humans' brains, with the viewer themselves being a host until Fay saves them.
  • Green-Eyed Epiphany: Ember shows the viewer dragon flirting techniques, insisting that she is merely demonstrating and she does not have any affection for the viewer. In "Tsundere Dragon Patches You Up" once she learns that the viewer tried them on other dragons, she reluctantly admits she wanted the viewer to flirt with them.
  • Human Aliens: Zelenia and Fay, both appear mostly human, except for their antennae and face markings.
  • Humans Are Morons: Zelenia thinks that humans aren't intelligent. Despite her sympathy for humans, Fay agrees with her.
  • Humans Through Alien Eyes: The Dragon and Alien series show how these different species view humanity.
  • Meatgrinder Surgery: Some of the instruments Doctor Fritter uses can be charitably described as DIY.
  • Mundane Afterlife: Of a sort, as the denizens of the afterlife occupied by Miss Spooky have a "haunting quota" that they are required to meet. Miss Spooky herself says this particular spirit-world (which could be some form of purgatory) is rather boring, and filled with mild inconveniences.
  • Sibling Rivalry: Between Fay and Zelenia, as Fay's support of humans clashes with Zelenia's ideals
  • Obliviously Evil: Doctor Raspberry Fritter. She doesn't seem to realize that to most people, organ donation doesn't involve removing the organs without anesthetic while the person is still alive. She also seems very blasé about eating people.
  • Our Dragons Are Different: Ember and Bubblemint look human, but with horns, fangs and facial markings.
  • No True Scotsman: In "Patching You Up" Ember patches up the viewer, after they were in a fight with a dragon gang. Ember notes that the gang has this attitude with there fellow dragons, expecting them all to act the way they do.
  • Plant Person: The Plant Girl is a plant brought to life by the viewer's care of them. She appears a girl with green hair, leaves, and flowers, though she reverts pack to her plant form at the end of the video.
  • Tsundere: Yuki and Ember are both very clear about how much they hate humans, but it's fairly obvious that they harbour a fascination with them.
  • Yandere: Tabby-chan, who turns up at our house uninvited and kidnaps us. It's also implied that she murdered another girl who was interested in us. Sweetie Girl 69 is another example.
Tabby-chan (after kidnapping us) It's okay because lovers...get in quarrels.
