has abridged various Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy games into series.
- Birth by Sleep: Young warrior Terra and his friends set out to protect the Princesses of Light, trying and failing to remember their responsibilities.
- XV: At the behest of his father, Prince Noctis goes on an adventure so people won't notice that Kingdom Hearts III is in Development Hell.
- 3: Sora and Riku journey across the worlds to foil Xehanort's plan, falling foul to many retcons along the way.
They include the following tropes:
- Bait-and-Switch Sentiment: "Terra...Ven...I'm getting sick of being your babysitter!"
- Cutscene Incompetence: Riku and Mickey, seasoned Heartless fighters, are intimidated by the basic Shadow Heartless surrounding them."If these formed into a tower we'd be screwed!"
- Cynicism Catalyst: By the beginning of A Fragmentary Passage, Aqua has transitioned from a caring paragon into someone who steals dead people's houses and celebrates the fact that Terra and Ven are no longer in her life. Given what they did in the previous game, it's hard to blame her.
- Hilariously Abusive Childhood: Eraqus is explicit about the fact he will kill Terra if he falls to darkness, and fully expects he will.
- The Last Straw: Eraqus is already upset by Xehanort's machinations, but finding out that he stole Eraqus' name for the Unversed makes him boil over.
- Noble Bigot: This version of Eraqus is a blatant misogynist who refers to Aqua as "female" instead of by name, and mocks Terra for losing to her...but the plot point that he approved her as a Keyblade Master remains intact.
- Toy Ship: An in-universe example; Aqua declares Sora and Riku her OTP.
