Noodle (real name Julian Morley), born September 22nd, 1998, is an American YouTube animator. He usually uploads animated videos wherein he tackles a variety of subjects, such as animation and video games, among other oddities like b-movies. The man really loves Halo and loathes the abuse of interpolation on animation.

He usually resorts to animation for his content, but also will occasionally use cardboard cutouts for filler episodes.

His channel can be found here.

Tropes:

  • Berserk Button: In-Universe. Noodle doesn't really likes the "Smooth" animations beause it looks ugly. He has nothing but bad words about that kind of "Animation".
  • Black Comedy: Has zero shame in using it. Even his ad breaks get in on it.
  • Butt-Monkey: Noodle likes using his friend Braden as one.
  • Gainax Ending: Noodle's "Smoother animation ≠ Better animation" video ends with a robot Noodle blowing up Noodle's front door (and wall) wide open while Noodle incoherently screams. Cut to credits.
  • I Hate Past Me: Doesn't even try to hide his regret for his younger self or his work, as seen in Need for Speed: A History.
Past Noodle: I'm stupid and bad at writing! Also, my favorite YouTuber is-
Present Noodle: I know what you're gonna say! That guy's a pedophile.
    (Beat)
    Past Noodle: ...oh.
  • Kill and Replace: The last seconds of Noodle's "Smoother animation ≠ Better animation" video imply this when a robot Noodle loudly shows up to kill him, but later videos would reveal that it was ultimately averted.
  • Major Injury Underreaction: Noodle can handle bleeding and car crashes surprisingly well.
Noodle: (*enters through his front window*) I'm mad! (*slowly realizes the blood under him*) ...And bleeding?
  • Running Gag
  • Stylistic Suck: The aforementioned cardboard cutout videos Noodle makes to compensate for how animation takes a while. He would ultimately turn this into an art form when he used it for the sponsor segment of his Need for Speed retrospective.
  • Tempting Fate: Really had to bring up the thought of robots replacing animators, didn't you, Noodle?
  • There Was a Door: But apparently, Noodle was too mad at interpolated animation to notice it before using his front window to get inside his own house. Noodle's robot duplicate also couldn't be assed to just open the door itself. Humorously, Noodle still hasn't gotten around to replacing it.
