Mtg Forger is a German movie review show hosted by a German guy in who mostly reviews recent theatrical movies and sometimes anime.
Aside from movie reviews he also has three spinoff shows called "Hinter der Leinwand" (translated: "Behind the Screen") in which he talks about the trivias of a movie but also giving his own opinions on the movie as well, "Forger Kommentiert" (translated: "Comments by Forger") where he comments on a movie and unlike rifftrax not for comedy but for discussing on the movie while watching it and "Wie funktionieren Filme" (translated: "That's HOW Movies work") in which he focuses on movie elements and loves to reference to TV Tropes. Other shows he did in the past were the revived but immediately abandoned "Radio Forger" in which he talked about upcoming movies and social topics and the also abandoned show "Spielestation" (translated: "Gamestation"). While his views aren't nearly as much as other german movie review webshows like DVDKritik
(translated: "DVD Critic") which is hosted by Robert Hofmann or FilmKritikTV (translated: "Film Critic TV") which was hosted by Franc Tausch who tragically passed away in 2012, the show of Forger still has its own unique touch compared to other german movie critics.
He claims Doug Walker, Noah Antwiler and RedLetterMedia as his main influences as why he became a critic.

Forger provides examples of:
- Berserk Button: There are two tropes that make him really angry if a movie got those: Magical Girlfriend and the Innocent Victim.
- Caustic Critic: If a movie really pisses him off than you shouldn't expect him to be nice.
- Deadpan Snarker: He got a mouth full of it.
- Freudian Slip: Can happen sometimes in his movie reviews considering that he does those unscripted.
- No Ending: His "Behind the Screen" episodes always end abruptly with him just saying something and then suddenly out of nowhere: The video is over.
- Shaky Cam: He shakes the camera to show the audience how it feels watching A Good Day to Die Hard.
