"I'm in this for the lols... so IN YOUR FACE."

Mr. Ubiquitous is a web series created by SuperMCGamer in 2006 and continued in 2014. The series centers on Mr. Ubiquitous, a man who inexplicably has the ability to appear anywhere he wants at any time he wants to. He attempts to start his own water production company, avenge his father, take down his (secondary) enemy Doctor Nothingness, and read a book.

Mr. Ubiquitous provides examples of:

  • Affectionate Parody: Of Doctor Who. Mr. Ubiquitous is basically a walking TARDIS.
  • Big Eater: Mr. Ubiquitous loves cashews.
  • Catchphrase: Mr. Ubiquitous is in it for the lols... so in your face.
  • Call-Back: Quite a few times in the last episode—considering that it came out five years after the other ones, the entire 11 minutes could be seen as a giant Call Back.
  • Chekhov's Gun: Mr. Ubiquitous' water makes people more productive simply via contact, which is established in the 'Client' episode. In the finale, Mr. Ubiquitous uses it to give Doctor Nothingness a physical body.
  • Comically Missing the Point: Doctor Nothingness is given a physical form by Mr. Ubiquitous, and cries out in shock—because his physical form has an afro.
  • Disproportionate Retribution: Averted. At first, it looks like Mr. Ubiquitous is trying to destroy Doctor Nothingness because he attempted to run his company out of business, but it's explained later that Doctor Nothingness had previously sent Mr. U's father to the gap between dimensions, and he is simply trying to avenge him.
  • Everyone Calls Him "Barkeep": While it's never established that Mr. Ubiquitous and Doctor Nothingness aren't their real names, it's unlikely that they are, especially since they're blood related and thus should have the same last name.
  • Meaningful Name: Mai Boy primarily exists in the show to be a sort of son figure to Mr. Ubiquitous. Thus, his name is Mai Boy ("my boy"), clearly not his real name.
  • Token Motivational Nemesis: Played for Laughs. Mr. Ubiquitous chooses his employee based on whether or not they go to Wall-Mart, apparently considering it to be his worst enemy. Wall-Mart is never mentioned in the series again.
