Minecraft Raven is an adaptation of the CBBC Children's TV Show Raven created by the YouTube user, Billybo10K Six warriors enter the competition with 9 Lives. Every time they win a challenge, they gain gold rings. Every time they lose a challenge, they lose a life. If they are successful to collect 9 gold rings, they will gain back a life. After a day of challenges, the least successful warrior is sent home ( Either by loss of all lives or failure on The Way of The Warrior).

Easier said than done.

In the first three seasons, the winners of their season and the second placed warriors go through to the final week to compete for the title of Ultimate Warrior. As it is adaption of the TV series, most challenges are like its inspiration however creative liberties are taken as it is in a video game which allows for more flexibility. Each season lasts five episodes with the final Day 5 ending with climatic encounter with the series antagonist, Nevar ( or his minion, Lady Nevar). There are currently 6 seasons aired, 1 victors season and a "Season 0" where friends of the show's creator play for fun.

A one-season revival was uploaded in 2022 to Billy's new channel, Billy S. Unlike the previous series, it is more like the source material via having 6 warriors compete in each of the first three weeks with two finalists from each week going on to compete in week four for the title of Ultimate Warrior.

    Season 0
  • Revisiting the Roots: The whole season 0 returns to the very first Minecraft Raven
  • Canon Discontinuity: Season 0 is a celebration of the series of a whole so most of the cast break The Fourth Wall and jokes are able to be made more than the original
  • Class Reunion: Jack and Kendra meet again after being last seen together in Raven Season 3.5.
  • In-Joke: Jack tricks Sam into reading a book title which is a fanfic which has been referenced between the group called "Billy x Arcy". note
  • Déjà Vu: Most of the cast (and the host himself) have this as the games they played before note
  • Screw the Rules, I Make Them!: Billy. When the rules he wrote are contradictory, he only changes them to mend them

    Season 1

    Season 2
  • Big "NO!": Let out by Vetra when he fails at Wrestling Ring. Simultaneously, Jemsar lets out a Victorious Roar.
  • Disqualification-Induced Victory: During The Torrent, Greold unintentionally punched a warrior, causing him to lose a life rather than the warrior who actually came last in the challenge.
  • Dramatic Irony: Gormite the Wave Warrior fails Deep Loch, a water themed challenge.
  • Running Gag: The constant saltiness throughout the season, especially from Vetra.
  • Trash Talk: Erebus does a lot of this during Pontoon Pursuit.

    Season 3/3. 5
  • Lava Pit: One of the challenges played on Day 5.
  • Non-Gameplay Elimination: Weyat had to pull out due to personal issues prior to the start of day 4 meaning Adena, who had been eliminated the previous day, got a second chance. She ultimately finished as runner up and returned for the Victors Season.
  • Passing the Torch: Worgal passes the "flag of female power" onto Adena after her elimination.
  • Real Life Writes the Plot: the season had to be restarted (hence the 3.5) due to Billy's computer crashing and some warriors who would have been in season three did not get to participate until later seasons as a result.
  • Screaming Warrior: Borislav screams a lot . . .

    Victor's Season
  • The Cameo: Erebus makes a few of them, most noticeably Dark Path and when crowning the Ultimate Champion.
  • Class Reunion: A lot of the warriors competed together in the same seasons.
  • Real Life Writes the Plot: due to scheduling issues, this season was not recorded until after season 4 and thus takes place after that one. Also, Mylek, the runner-up of season 1, was not able to return this season due to being unable to fit time for it into his schedule.
  • Screaming Warrior: Jostar screams with delight when he gets the emblem he wanted.
  • Shout-Out: Worgal makes a lot of them to certain warriors from the real show. It was so excessive, she made a video about it.
  • Take That!: In Day 4; when Borislav and Jostar find that a chest in Spider's Tunnel does not contain rings, Raven comments that this challenge location has fake chests "like Paris Hilton."
  • True Blue Femininity: Adena, the more quiet and feminine of the two girls, wears the Wave.
  • Victorious Roar: "I WON A CHALLENGE!" Screamed by Worgal after winning Dark Path.

    Season 4
  • Annoying Arrows: Aeglen keeps getting hit by arrows from booby traps in Dwarf Mine in Day 3 but isn't harmed by them. Justified Trope as this is Minecraft.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: Raven breaks character to scold Aeglen about trying to take the easy way out of Serpent's Eye.
  • Pass the Popcorn: one warrior says "Get some popcorn, this is going to take a while" during The Torrent in episode one when most of them mess up the water parkour section.
  • Shout-Out: Raven briefly sings a few lines of "Climb Every Mountain" from The Sound of Music when the two warriors that have yet to complete The Torrent (Itami and Jamar) are racing up the water parkour section to see who will avoid losing a life.
  • Take That!: While Conhar struggles during The Torrent, Raven asks "Conhar, do you feel your place on this quest is deserved or should you return to the Mc Donald's playplace?"

    Season 5
  • Déjà Vu: Heroney comes last in Warrior's Race and gets the Moon Emblem both times he faces it.
  • Epic Fail: All 5 remaining warriors fail Demon Square on Day 3.
  • Running Gag: Alarki's name being pronouced wrong unintentionally. Raven actually lampshades this on Day 2. Fortunately this stops on Day 3.
  • Tantrum Throwing: Zarto throws a "hissy fit" when he doesn't get his favourite emblem.

    The War of Alaunus
  • Disney Villain Death: Happens to Mendra (who betrayed his fellow warriors and Raven) as he was knocked into the lava of the Blasted Mountain.
  • Tone Shift: After 5 seasons of friendly competition, the war referenced finally happens and like every war, there is casualties..

    Season 6
  • Accidental Murder: Alanis accidentally shoots her partner Edlenco during Battle of the Boats on Day 1.
  • Foregone Conclusion: As Tabari never falls out of first place, it isn't a surprise that he becomes the Ultimate Warrior.
  • The Smurfette Principle: Alanis is the only female warrior in this season.

    Revival
  • Call-Back: In week 3 on day one, Otisk briefly mentions wanting to do as well as previous wave warrior Tabari from season 6.
  • Cheaters Never Prosper: Played with in week 3. It wasn't until after Otisk was eliminated that it was discovered that Sancho had cheated in Riddle Demon; he got punished by losing a life and all of the rings he had won up to that point. He did play fairly in the day 3 challenges but did poorly in all except Deep Loch, resulting in him being eliminated next after failing his run on Way of the Warrior.
  • Chromosome Casting: All of the warriors in Weeks 1 and 3 are male.
  • He's Back!: Hamras was originally Jemsar in Season 2. This is acknowledged in a Call-Back on Day 5.
  • Not Even Bothering with the Accent: Unlike previous seasons, Billy plays Raven with his natural accent and not a Scottish one.
  • Sir Swears-a-Lot: Most of the warriors are prone to swearing, but Hamras swears a LOT.
  • Stink Snub: Crecov calls Jorum stinky during Pontoon Pursuit to try and make him fall into the water.
  • The Smurfette Principle: Xalume is the only girl in this series.
