Meinos Kaen (real name Simone Simeone) is an Italian internet personality on YouTube who does tokusatsu TV show reviews, as well as video game content.
He has two primary tokusatsu video segments, Kamen Rider Review, currently covering Kamen Rider Drive, and Super Sentai Time, currently covering Ressha Sentai Tokkyuger. There is also Blast to the Past, about older Kamen Rider shows, currently covering Kamen Rider Kuuga.
He will in the future be playing through Steins;Gate on PC.
His videos contain examples of these tropes:
- Angrish: #37 of Gaim caused Meinos to lose it big time.
- Berserk Button: 'Football'. Meinos Kaen hates the sport to a disturbing degree especially since a cash-in episode to the movie interrupted #36 of Gaim's cliffhanger which he thought was Made of Win.
- Cerebus Syndrome: He started out just making fun of the fruit motifs in Gaim but by the time #14 rolls around he's taking his reviewing far more seriously and started to do lots of character analysis on Kota, Kaito, Micchy, and Takatora.
- Character Shilling: He feels that due to his unexpected popularity Kaito has been subjected to this trope and that his character has lost its proper direction.
- Chess Motif: Gives them to the Overlords. He even renames Akaken to fit the motif.

- When he realizes Redyue is a girl. Coincidentally, he had the same reaction towards Mitsuzane, his closest counterpart.
- In-Series Nickname: Has many for the cast of Kamen Rider Gaim:
- The Mysterious Girl is always called "The Princess".
- "Mittchan", "Solid Grape" for Mitsuzane
- He later becomes "Darh Sweater.
- He likes to call Kaito "Darth Chiquta" after he begins working for Ryoma.
- Continuing on Star Wars Takatora's Sith name is "Darth Melonhead".
- "Bartender Girl" for Iyo
- "Aka-Kentl "/"The Red Knight" for Deemushu
- "The Green Bishop" for Redyue
- "The White King" for Roshuo
- He sometimes refers to Yggdrasill as a whole as "The Rotten Side of the Fruit".
- "The Truuuuuth" for whatever Takatora showed Mitsuzane.
- The "KKK" for the trio of Kouta, Kaito, and the Red Knight.
- Ryoma becomes "Darth Coward".
- Dyudyuonshu is "The Yellow Pawn".
- Jerkass Has a Point: Meinos tends to agree with Kaito's arguments when he isn't subject to Character Shilling, seeing him as a great Devil's Advocate.
- Large Ham: Definitely becomes this at times.
- Love to Hate:[In-Universe] How Meinos sees Micchy as a villain. A scheming prick that is extremely enjoyable for his scumbag villainy and its even more enjoyable to watch his plans fall apart and have his ass kicked.
- Martyr Without a Cause: How Meinos sees Kouta. He points out that even though Kouta has rejected the concept of sacrifice all-together, he doesn't include himself into that ideal seeing his own life as an acceptable sacrifice not seeing how his death would have a very negative impact on everyone around him and that because of his lack of self worth Kouta is missing something that stops him from being a true hero.
- The Scrappy: [In-Universe] Not a character but #37 of Gaim is absolutely loathed by Meinos for ruining the resolution of the Zangetsu-Zangetsu-Shin duel which he saw as pure awesome.
- Shout-Out: Before YouTube's copyrights took down his original style of reviews, he referenced film and television often, using video clips.
- They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: [In-Universe] His reaction to Dyudyounshu's one episode run. He blames Darth Sweater, of course.
- What the Hell Is That Accent?: Admits to having a confusing accent, whether he is speaking English or even his native Italian.
- Willing Suspension of Disbelief: He notably has a very low threshold for this and is unwilling to let the more cartoonish tropes of tokusatsu slide when it doesn't mesh with the story.
