Malik Ibrahim is an Indonesian Internet comedy sketch creator, who uploads his content under the name Malikisme. His videos, many which are titled "Sehari Bersama ..." ("A Day with ..."), usually revolve around satirical or absurd interpretation of an Indonesian life. The videos were uploaded on TikTok
(a new account, after the original was banned in 2022), and Instagram accounts, and since 2022, he also uploads new skits and compilations of his old videos on YouTube.
Malikisme videos contain examples of:
- Biting-the-Hand Humor: The "BLOOKIIRRR"/"Sehari Bersama Tim Sensor TikTok" video is a satire about TikTok censorship, and is still uploaded on TikTok.
- Comically Missing the Point: In the courier "Sehari Bersama" video, the courier makes a snarky comment based on his literal misunderstanding of the recipient's "saya sendiri" ("myself" in context, "I'm single" literally).
- Didn't Think This Through: He made a sketch about a child walking out of his house after arguing with his father, only to realize seconds later that he has no idea where to go after leaving.
- Discretion Shot: The scene cuts away right before Malik's slap hits Daus in the Independence Day.
- Double Standard: The head of TikTok censors want all unattractive men who mildly go against the community guidelines blocked, but not sexy women who blatantly break it.
- Immediate Self-Contradiction: In the ghost hunter, right after claiming he is never scared, Malik hears some bell noises and asks for his mom.
- Insane Troll Logic: An adult tells Malik that he is allowed to participate in a child-only Independence Day competition because "kedewasaan" ("adulthood" as the rule intended, but "maturity" as he interpreted) isn't decided by age. Malik is frustrated that he's not even wrong.
- Instantly Proven Wrong: In "Sehari Bersama Pemain Badminton", Malik claims that one of the benefits of playing badminton is you can play with a friend. Cue two nearby people discussing how they shouldn't play with him.
- Laugh Track: Parodied in the ghost hunter "A Day with..." video, where laugh track is used for the ghost sound instead and it scares Malik.
- Manchild: "makin aneh" AKA "if adults act like children" is about three adults fighting over a toy motorcycle, and crying about it.
- Mondegreen Gag: One of the antics happening in his Independence Day video is how Rio pulls Bambang ("tarik Bambang") instead of pulling the tug-of-war rope ("tarik tambang")
- Not a Morning Person: According to this video, a jobless person will find waking up at 2 in the afternoon to be too early.
- Ripped from the Headlines: The ghost hunter sketch name drops the then-viral "domestic-abuse prank" as a throwaway gag.
- Suddenly Shouting: The courier in the courier sketch has a normal phone call asking the recipient for his location, until the recipient gives his neighbor's name and the courier shouts "How the fuck I supposed to know that?!" (in Gratuitous English) in anger.
- Wacky Cravings: The "Sehari Bersama" video about pregnant woman has a scene where Malik is asked by his wife to buy her some soup at 3 A.M.
- Verbal Backspace: The head of TikTok censors asks for the name of the account that has flashing woman videos for "ejaculation", erm, "evaluation" purpose.
