Jainko Stones is a Alternate Reality Game Webseries about a magical set of stones that grant power to those who wield them. Protagonist Jonathan "Jo" Hill and his mysterious informant Kara, along with the players, attempt to find the Jainko Stones before an evil corporation, appropriately called Evil Corp (or E Corp) does.

Jainko Stones provides examples of...

  • Breather Episode:
    • Episode 2, after the massive Info Dump of Episode 1, this episode is just a walk in the park. Literally.
    • Episode 5, after the first real fight of the series.
    • Episode 12, for the same reasons as Episode 2.
  • Card-Carrying Villain: E Corp calls themselves Evil Corp. The leader of E Corp, Lance Quilby, is also an Omnicidal Maniac.
  • Color-Coded for Your Convenience: Jo and his clones wear one of his two colorful jackets; green or yellow.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: Several.
    • In Episode 4, Blackwood Clone #1 defeats Jo fairly easily. He escapes.
    • In Episode 10, Blackwood Clone #2 defeats Jo Clone #1 pretty easily. He is then delivered a counter-curb-stomp by the real Jo.
    • In Episode 11, the same scenario repeats: the real Ross Blackwood makes quick work of Jo Clone #2, while the real Jo uses a 7-stone combo to utterly destroy Blackwood.
  • The Dragon: Ross J. Blackwood to Lance Quilby. And from a certain perspective, Jo to Kara.
  • Idiot Hero: Averted, much unlike its major inspiration. Jo is not incompetent, and in fact knows about the Jainko Stones before Episode 1.
  • We Can Rule Together: Lance Quilby offers this several times to Jo.
