- Big First Choice: All choices in the song go back to the choice to cut your hair or let it grow.
- …But I Play One on TV: Hugh Laurie performs an operation on the protagonist as he is a doctor (on House, M.D.). Except he’s not, he’s just nuts and kills the protagonist and steals their brain.
- Evil Wears Black: If you become an evil supervillain, you wear a black top hat with a black mustache.
- Good Hair, Evil Hair: You immediately become a hippie if you let your hair grow, and when you become a supervillain you immediately grow a mustache.
- Important Haircut: Whether you get a haircut or not changes the story drastically, you either become a hippie or get stabbed in the head.
- Only a Flesh Wound: In the cut hair route, the main character gets stabbed in the head, and although they go to a hospital, they do not show any sign of being hurt. In one ending, they leave the hospital without the knife being removed and live a perfectly normal life.
- Police Brutality: After peacefully protesting, you get shot by many police officers.
