- Ax-Crazy: Xakk.
- Combat Tentacles: Happens twice in the series. First time, tentacles come out from an open door. The second time? Giant tentacles swinging around from above the buildings! Civillian screams included!
- Crossover: With another Slender Man series called TJA Projects.
- Foreshadowing: As with Apple of Our Eye, it takes a few episodes for the whole Slender Man aspect of the story to get rolling (aside from some distortion in a couple of episodes along with comments about technical difficulties in editing videos together), but in the first episode, before anything starts, you can see the Operator Symbol etched into the window of a vacant storefront.
- Hellish Pupils: Happens to Xakk.
- Lovecraftian Superpower: It's Slenderman. What more do you expect?
- Noodle Incident: "And here you'll see the deer sculptures, which we can never look at the same way again. No, we're not going to tell you why."
- Playing Possum: Happens with Xakk. He appears to be "dead" at one point, but then later in the video he gets up. Then again, maybe he wasn't just playing and had become undead?
- Sanity Slippage: Happens to Xakk early in the series and leads to Ax-Crazy for him.
