"In this forest, there are twelve castaways who are, currently, battling it out for the title of Sole Survivor. One by one, they'll be voting each-other out until one person is left remaining, but, first, our castaways will be, randomly, selected into two tribes. Welcome to the reboot of Minecraft Survivor: The Forest."
EliteChris35, aka Chris, at the beginning of Season 1's first episode.

EliteChris35's Minecraft Survivor is based off of the popular CBS reality game show, Survivor. The series follows the same premise as the original but is hosted on a Minecraft server rather than real life. Twelve to sixteen contestants, called "castaways", embark on a journey to become the last person in the game, called the "Sole Survivor". Each castaway is put onto a tribe where they must work together to win tribal immunities and rewards. After the game has progressed quite a bit, the tribes dissolve and the remaining castaways must fight for individual immunities and carve their path to the end where they must, against one or more finalists, convince past eliminated castaways to vote them to be the winner. The first (official) season, which is, currently, still airing, had its first episode debut on February 24th, 2017.

A season before the first official season exists on the channel, dubbed Minecraft Survivor: Unlisted, otherwise known as Season 0. It aired from July 31, 2015, to August 8, 2015. It had eleven castaways but, after two eliminations, the season ended prematurely and the final nine were declared co-winners.

This webseries has examples of the following tropes:

  • Bread, Eggs, Breaded Eggs: This exchange in the first episode of season one.
Bunboy: “What came first, the chicken or the egg?”
    Nathan: “Um...both.”
Bunboy: “It’s a trick question, it’s the chegg!”
    [beat]
    Nathan: “Kay…”
  • Color-Coded for Your Convenience: In the first season, the Poppi tribe is red and the Allium tribe is purple, much like the flowers in Minecraft.
  • Confession Cam: Castaways are given the chance to talk about their thoughts, most notably strategies, in private.
  • Sole Survivor: The winner of each season earns this fitting title.
