believes the answer is the unholy lovechild of the Deltarune / Undertale multiverse and the Mandela Catalogue.
Some kind of unknowable threat has begun to invade the world.
It's exact nature is undetermined, it appears to be a Human Soul except its shown very strange and disturbing abilities like Demonic Possession, Psychic Powers that let it Mind Rape victims to Madness and use the later as People Puppets and mess with devices. With possibly more unknown ones.
In respose to this threat the Deltarune Chaos Control Agency has started to issue Security Tapes to help families of Humans and Monsters survive, but something has been interfering with them.
The story is, as noted by its title an Analog Horror story, inspired by The Mandela Catalogue.
Currently, there is only one video posted, but apparently Kind Mr Zappo has some kind of larger story already in mind.
This story has tropes like:
- Adorable Abomination: The Soul.
- Analog Horror: It is inspired by the Mandela Catalogue after all. Despite the fact that it takes place in a videogame world it still manages to be just as terrifying as its inspiration.
- Ax-Crazy: The Soul appears to be attempting the evil routes, and is thus on a rampage with no way to reason with it. Mind you, RPG controls don't tend to give the players many ways to interact with their enviroment except through violence however.
- Big Bad: The Soul. It has started to posses people and going on rampages. Gaster appears to be the Greater-Scope Villain.
- Cosmic Horror Story: Fitting for what series it is the
Spiritual Successor to. The Soul is a Cosmic Horror that's toying with this world and the authorities don't know what it is or what to do about it. - Demonic Possession: One of the Soul's powers, victims are refered to as vessels.
- Eldritch Abomination / Humans Are Cthulhu: The Soul is a strange, extremely powerful spirit with very strange and disturbing abilities like Demonic Possession, Psychic Powers that let it Mind Rape victims to Madness and use the later as People Puppets and mess with devices. With possibly more unknown ones.
