Better Call Saul: How To is a series of webisodes made to advertise Seasons 5 and 6 of Better Call Saul. Like the 'employee training' webisodes, these videos show the main characters of the series giving advice for accomplishing tasks. However, unlike those other videos, the 'how to' videos are all live action and are played relatively seriously, without background gags showing the horrible events that the characters are undergoing (or, in some cases, causing). The videos and their hosts are:

  1. How to Tie a Tie (Saul Goodman)
  2. How to Make a Taco (Lalo Salamanca)
  3. How to Iron a Shirt (Gus Fring)
  4. How to Negotiate (Kim Wexler)
  5. How to Make a Pimento Cheese Sandwich (Mike Ehrmantraut)
  6. How to Get Out of Jury Duty (Saul Goodman)
  7. How to Spot Counterfeit Money (Nacho Varga)
  8. How to Do Your Job as a Juror (Howard Hamlin, Saul Goodman, and Kim Wexler)
  9. How to Ace an Interview (Howard Hamlin)
  10. How to Find Jupiter with a Telescope (Mike Ehrmantraut)
  11. How to Make Friends with Anyone (Lalo Salamanca)
  12. How to Throw a Punch (Howard Hamlin)
  13. How to Manage Threatening Clients (Kim Wexler)
  14. How to Copyedit Like a Pro (Kim Wexler)
  15. How to Spot a Fake Diamond (Saul Goodman)

Tropes:

  • Captain Obvious: Some of the advice is very obvious. Mike's tips on making a sandwich, for instance, are essentially 'buy cheese spread and bread, spread cheese on the bread, close the sandwich, and that's it.'
  • Faux Affably Evil: Lalo keeps up his air of menace even when all he's doing is explaining how to make a really good taco.
  • Must Have Caffeine: In the video about copyediting, Kim recommends always having some coffee before starting.
  • Rhetorical Question Blunder: Saul says many people ask the rhetorical question 'how did they find me?' when talking about jury duty. Then he gives the simple answer: the Department of Motor Vehicles turned over the needed address.
