Behzingagram!

Ethan Leigh Payne (born 20 June 1995), better known by his online identity Behzinga, is an English YouTuber, live streamer, and Internet personality. He is a co-founder of the popular online group the Sidemen; he was also the one named the group (then named the "Ultimate Sidemen").

Payne is known for being the most amused and, previously, most easily triggered member of the group. During the early years of the group (up until around February 2015), he was the only Sideman whose secondary channel was more popular than his primary channel. He also was known for being the heaviest member of the group, but he turned his life around and lost the weight; his journey is covered in his three-part autobiographic documentary miniseries How to Be Behzinga. He's also the first Sidemen member to conceive a child.

Behzingatropes:

• Angrish: Can be reduced to this under times of extreme anger, such as during the GTA V game that gave Sidemen fans his iconic outburst, "Choke on rice! Slip in the shower!"
• Berserk Button: "Behzerk Button", perhaps?
  • Calling him homosexual made him a bit upset, though this has toned down later on.
  • Calling him a pedophile gets him really angry.
• Big Fun: He was somewhat overweight, calling himself a good-looking fat guy back then, although he's since lost weight. No matter what, however, he always loves a good laugh.
• Book Dumb:
  • Played for Laughs as the "dumb Essex boy" due to his inability to do well in games such as Trivial Pursuit.
  • Josh has even stated, "When Ethan outsmarts you, you know it's a really bad day."
• Bunny-Ears Lawyer: He laughs a lot and tends to be a bit emotional. He is also the group's leader (at least on FIFA and GTA).
• Butt-Monkey: Often gets a lot of banter from the Sidemen, usually due to his own incompetence.
• Can't Catch Up: Of all the Sidemen, he was the very last to both get verified on Twitter and reach one million subscribers on his main channel. This has made him the butt of many jokes among the group.
• Casanova Wannabe:
  • Has sometimes tried to pander to the ladies to hilariously unsuccessful effect.
  • In the "Sidemen Try Not to Laugh Challenge" (which is based around heavily invoked Spit Takes), he remarks, "I normally make girls this wet."
  • This GTA V exchange:
  Ethan: Girls can get Behzinga'd.
  Vik: I feel sorry for them!
  • This trope has ceased as he got a spouse and a child is on the way.
• Character Catchphrase:
  • Sometimes expresses his anger with a simple "Grrr."
  • "Behzingagram!" — Shouts this whenever he has a good moment. By the way, that is the name of his Instagram profile.
  • He now has a tendency to say "Oh Neil!" whenever something goes wrong.
  • "What do you mean?". Sometimes, it's spelled as "What d'you mean?", because Ethan said the words "do you" pretty fast.
  • "Is that a fat joke?" — Shouts this whenever he finds something that may refer to a joke about his slight obesity. Sometimes doesn't even have to be a fat joke, since it's been occasionally borrowed by the other Sidemen although they never tease each other for being fat.
• Colour-Coded for Your Convenience: His GTA vehicle colour is red.
• Epic Fail:
  • His 2016 Royal Rumble led to him not getting a single win due to extremely poor team-building decisions.
  • When he got a 190 FUT Draft in FIFA 16 and somehow managed to lose 0-3, Ethan felt that it was necessary to formally apologize to his fans.
  • Lands on his ass whilst going down the stairs because he was too distracted arguing with JJ.
• Formerly Fat: From a fatass to a he-man in mere months.
• Hair-Trigger Temper: Is very easily irritable, which of course makes him an easier target for the others' banter.
• Have I Mentioned I Am Heterosexual Today?: When you're constantly faced with homosexuality allegations in the name of banter, this is a given trope to utilize. Here's one example of Ethan using this trope in a Cards Against Humanity game.
  "Like, I love vagina, and I do—I'm in vagina."
• The Hyena: Oh man, does he laugh so hard and so much. He's even made two compilations of his best laughs. His main channel design and banner was even based on 😂 (the "face with tears of joy" emoji) until the emoji became out-of-fashion, especially among Gen Z audiences.
• In-Series Nickname: Sometimes he or the others call himself "Zingu" or "Behz" instead of "Behzinga" or his real name.
• Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Sure, he's easy to anger but deep down, he genuinely respects his friends and fans. Even he was visibly hurt when KSI betrayed him, although the beef was revealed to be fake and they were still friends.
• The Leader: Is the official head of the Sidemen's official Rockstar Games Social Club group and FIFA team.
• The Load: Can sometimes be this, such as in this FIFA video, where he is the main source of the team's downfall.
• Mistaken for Gay: Very often, much to his chagrin. He later played this up with Simon later on, though.
• Pokémon Speak: Has a tendency to shout "Behzinga!" or "Behzingagram!" (his Instagram username) when he starts succeeding.
• Running Gag:
  • Early on, the frequent homosexual allegations, although this has now been turned into "The Power of Emon" with Simon.
  • An old one was that he used to get teased for being the only Sideman that wasn't verified on Twitter, though he eventually got verified.
  • His inability to win in games that are not FIFA or Grand Theft Auto V.
  • His tendency to put holes through his desk when he gets angry.
  • As of late, Ethan has reportedly joined Vik's party of being called a pedophile, much to his chagrin.
  "What is it [about me]? I'm actually a nice guy!"
• Shout-Out: His online identity is a misspelling of Sheldon Cooper's catchphrase, "Bazinga!"
• Took a Level in Kindness: Has become more patient and even-tempered over the years.
• Vomit Indiscretion Shot:
  • In Callux's video of him and Ethan trying strange types of American beer. The sounds coupled with the visuals are unpleasant.
  • After taking the Carolina Reaper (again). Well, not immediately after eating it, but as one of the side effects.
