Arson Sam is a series on YouTube that depicts Fireman Sam as an evil arsonist (whose hobby is to set things on fire) rather than a friendly firefighter. Also, episode clips are played backwards with subtitles added, to make it look like the fire brigade is actually doing the opposite of what they should normally do. And the lyrics to the theme tune are altered.

There are various Arson Sam series from multiple creators, but they all use the same numbering system.

This series provides examples of the following:

  • Back from the Dead: Dilys when Sam kills her, sets the store on fire, and Dennis uses his "Anti dead person" potion on her.
  • Calling Your Bathroom Breaks: In the intro of Episode 7, after exiting Wallaby 1, Tom announces that he's going for a piss.
  • Cut His Heart Out with a Spoon: An example of it occurs in Episode 5:
Pelvis Weekly: So she said, "burn my family ever again, and I'll drown you in a tub of cheese".
  • Drives Like Crazy: In one "episode", Jupiter is driven like crazy.
  • Feathered Fiend: Arson Crow.
  • For the Evulz: In Episode 10, this conversation explains another reason for the fire brigade's activities:
Norman: No! Why must you burn it?
    Penny: Because we're monumental jerks.
  • Gag Dub: The intro of episodes based on Series 5 is dubbed over with the characters making comical remarks about what's happening, with the most frequent being "Putting you in here", "What are you doing in (place)?", and "Driving/flying backwards".
  • He Knows Too Much: Norman gets left on a cliff once because of it.
  • Hot Pursuit: In one episode, Sam and the gang find out that one of the members, Mike Flood, is an undercover cop. Just then, police cars arrive and a high speed chase ensues.
  • The Mafia: The Arsonist brigade acts like this, setting fire to Dilys' and Bella's shops because they haven't paid protection money.
  • invokedMoney, Dear Boy: Discussed in Episode 6:
Sam: I wonder why we do this.
Steele: It makes a living. You remember that.
Sam: Some living, if you ask me.
  • Percussive Maintenance: In Episode 6, Elvis has a hard time setting off a bomb. Sam advises him to hit it.
  • Pyromaniac: This is the main plot of the series. Fireman Sam, along with the whole fire brigade, start fires rather than fight them. As a result the police are usually on the lookout for them.
  • Related in the Adaptation: Penny is Sarah and James' mother, instead of the canonical Bronwyn.
  • Stuff Blowing Up: After the high speed chase the gang (led by Station Officer Steele) threaten to use a mega bomb on the police force unless they surrender. They refuse. The bomb is detonated.
  • Too Dumb to Live: Thanks to the footage being run in reverse, the characters run in to the burning buildings.
  • Undercover Cop Reveal: Mike Flood is revealed to be an undercover cop after being crushed to death with a safe. He radios for backup in his dying last moments.
