The Amnesiacs SMP is a private, lore-based survival multiplayer modded Minecraft server created by RadiostaticR and PolarisRune. It is streamed on Twitch by the creators. It utilises the Origins mod and other similar mods.
It follows 11+ characters as they wake up together in the wilderness with no memory of anything aside from their names. Using what little they know and can do, they need to find a way to figure out what happened and get their memories back.
Amnesiacs SMP contains examples of:
- Amnesiac Hero: All of the main characters, including the three povs, have amnesia. They can't remember anything except their own names.
- Have We Met?: Nox's attitude towards Aqua when they first meet. Specifically, he is relieved to see her when she tries to help him without even knowing who she is.Nox: I'm... so glad you're safe.
- No Focus on Humans: None of our main characters are human, although humans may exist in their world. Instead, everyone has an Origin, which gives them abilities (and sometimes debuffs) not known for humans.
- Non-Human Non-Binary: Played With. Most of the characters use more than one set of pronouns, but that's mostly because the creators playing them also use those pronouns. Also, their non-cis identities have nothing to do with their being non-humans.
- You Wake Up in a Room: The characters all wake up in an unfamiliar clearing at the beginning with no memories of their past or how they got there.
