Aitor Molina Vs., mostly known as AMVs is a reviews and variety show starring characters played by Aitor Molina. The most distinctive aspect with other review-shows is a storyline and animated specials with a Shared Universe alongside franchises like Retropokon, Resenacion, The Enigma Archives and El Rincon De Lonkplays. It's also considered a Deconstruction of this type of shows. Some of his other creations include:
- Hobocop
- Digimon Resumido
- The Fantasia Revenge
- The Alien Revenge
- House Of Darkington (screenwriter and Title Sequence)
- Infernals & Lemons (screenwriter)
- Retropokon Especial de Aniversario: The John Show (screenwriter for Doctor Pandemia)
- Infernals & Yrions (screenwriter)
- Tadeo Jones 3
On 2015, some subplots were too hard to follow or relevant stories were cancelled. The third year anniversary special established a new continuity to erase those problems and make the stories more stand-alone. This resulted into the creation of the Revengeverse.
This show contains examples of:
- Aborted Arc/What Happened to the Mouse?: Pandemia said something about a clone in Seahorse Seashell Party and it was never brought back.
- Subverted in Hateful Comparisons: Vete A La Versh vs. Telegordo with "The Mandarin" Bator Medina.
- The Dreamscape Kingdom.
- Ac CENT Upon The Wrong Syl L Able: Aitor pronounces some English names like "Bad Animations" or "Skapokon" like they were in Spanish.
- Accentuate the Negative: His review of the first episode of Bleach.
- Up to eleven when he talks about Darkar or Elrubius.
- Accidental Misnaming: He plays a lot with that to the point you don't know if he's joking or not.
- Accidental Nightmare Fuel: The dog in planes scene from the Top 9 Pixar Movies I want to see may be scarier than he intended.
- A God Am I: Kikiyama believes he is a god for creating [1].
- Ambiguously Evil: Doctor Pandemia and Bator Medina.
- Breakout Villain: Doctor Pandemia appeared as a cameo in a video by Celio Hogane before becoming the first recurring villain of the show.
- Character Title: Aitor Molina (versus).
- Coming of Age Story: The CharacterDevelopment Aitor Molina receives trough the episodes qualifies as that.
- Composite Character: Dreamcrusher was originally named Uboane.
- Continuity Reboot: The third year anniversary special is about Reddy putting Aitor's mind in his self fom another dimension.
- Cosmic Retcon: The beginning of the third year anniversary special, which Retcons the story arc of The Dreamscape Kingdom.
- Crossover: This with Enemil.
- Bizarre March III was full of crossovers.
- Deconstruction: Most of the cartoony and reviewing tropes are given way too many consequences.
- Early-Installment Weirdness: Not counting the worse edition and pacing, the first episodes didn't find the identity yet and relied too much on clichés by Nostalgia Critic and Blockbuster Buster. Doctor Pandemia was more a Dr. Insano Expy than an actual character and the interactions were similar to Fistroman.
- In the first episode, Best Hercules, Aitor Molina has generic clothing instead of his trademark red shirt and black jacket or blue hoodie. The review is also made with a boy and a girl instead of alone (or with a single companion like Lugosi or Ganchito).
- Episodes 2, 3 and 4 are even worse for contradictions and unfocused reviews and plots. The show really kicked-off with the fifth episode and the introduction of Kikiyama.
- Eldritch Abomination: Kikiyama broke every human rule possible to become a superior being as the Dreamscape King.
- Dreamcrusher seems to be one.
- Evil Laugh: Rakzol in The Fantasia Revenge and Doctor Pandemia.
- Exactly What It Says on the Tin: It's about Aitor Molina versus media.
- Eye Scream: In 50 Shades of Gaston, Maiden Riku takes Belle's eyes.
- Foreshadowing: A literal example in the Aitor Molina Marvel 2 TitleCard.
- Gratuitous Foreign Language: "Egun on guztioi" means "hello everybody" in Basque. It's the only Basque thing you are going to hear in the entire show!
- Iconic Outfit: Aitor Molina's red shirt and black jacket or trademark blue hoodie from the games.
- It Makes Sense in Context: Fifty Shades of Gaston as a title.
- Jump Scare: Since Aitor Molina hates them, he uses them to show his point. The Evil Dead retrospective and Creepypasta High School use them the most.
- Kill All Humans: Dreamcrusher is the only canon human who seemingly wants that.
- Knight of Cerebus: Dreamcrusher is the only villain who has yet to make a joke.
- Legacy Character: Subverted with Lugosi Lavey, whose hat and jacket were going to be used to represent the character instead of the actress.
- Madness Mantra: Dogs in planes...
- Mad Scientist: Doctor Pandemia created a faceless nazi and an invisible butler.
- Locovich in Infernals & Lemons.
- Moe Anthropomorphism: Ashe Ylum is based on The Asylum.
- Mushroom Samba: A literal one happens when Aitor eats a mushroom on AMVs Seahorse Seashell Party. Most of the clips were taken from Beavis and Butt-Head Do America.
- Retcon: The Dreamscape Kingdom seems to ignore the first anniversary special.
- Recap Episode: The first six minutes of the third year anniversary special.
- Rule of Funny: Most of the villains and general actions follow this rule.
- Series Mascot: Martillo Smith.
- Shared Universe: Infernals & Lemons does it with Retropokon, Pesadillas del Infierno, Lemon Emon, Coballita Mix and somehow previous works like Red Leo Media and Christmas Holocaust.
- The Fantasia Revenge expands it to El Rincón De Lonkplays, The Enigma Archives, Guerra de Consolas, Crítico Molesto and Guille el Rey.
- Stepford Smiler: Aitor Molina and Johannes Lázaro recreating Jeff the Killer's pose.
- Strange Salute: "Egun on guztioi, les habla Aitor Molina".
- The Professor: Doctor Pandemia qualifies.
- Karl Talgo and Locovich in the crossovers.
- The Ghost: Karlova, is she a real person or does Aitor love the caramel vodka too much?
- The Stinger: Almost every episode has something after the credits.
- Title Card: Every episode has one, principally by guest artists.
- Trademark Favorite Food: Karlova caramel vodka.
- Videogame Dashing: The Aitordash is a signature movement.
- Voice of the Legion: Kikiyama's "I AM A GOD" in the alternative Dreamscape Kingdom intro.
