The Mighty Grand Piton is a short film created by Wesley Louis for THE LINE Animation.
A fake trailer of sorts, the short depicts a young English girl named Connie who travels to the Caribbean island of Saint Lucia with her family for the holidays. There, she accidentally awakens a mysterious giant robot named Grand Piton who seems eager to protect her and the island.

- All There in the Manual: Connie's name and background are only detailed in side materials. THE LINE released a 150 pages long digital art book detailing the production of the short that can be found here.
- Animesque: The short is heavily influenced by Mecha anime. The digital art book specifically lists Giant Robo and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann as central inspirations along with Transformers.
- Big Creepy-Crawlies: At one point, the Grand Piton is shown to fight some kind of giant bug that appears to be attacking the airport.
- Bilingual Bonus: Grand Piton says "Mwen sé Grand Piton" at the end of the short, Saint Lucian Creole for "I am Grand Piton".
- Bland-Name Product: Connie is seen with her family inside a "Yotoya" car.
- Company Cameo: The logo of THE LINE Animation appears when Grand Piton is fighting a giant bug at an airport... As the logo of an airline, reading THE Air LINE.
- Company Cross References: Connie is shown to be watching Super Turbo Atomic Ninja Rabbit (another short film made by THE LINE Animation and created by Wesley Louis) inside the plane.
- Humongous Mecha: The titular Grand Piton is a giant mecha inspired by similar robots from Transformers, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann and Giant Robo. The last shot of the short shows him facing an even bigger robot.
- The Men in Black: A pair of men in black appear in the short. One of them is seen holding a mysterious orb and sporting Scary Shiny Glasses.
- Real Trailer, Fake Movie: The short is presented as if it were an actual trailer for a film or TV series.
- Robot Buddy: After being awakened by Connie, Grand Piton becomes Connie's friend and protector. According to the digital art book, their friendship was inspired on The Iron Giant.
