T.P. is a 10-minute claymation Web Animation by Bob Blevins and Bradly Werley under the title of "WerlyBob Pictures".

A young roll of toilet paper has been set up in a gross public washroom in an undisclosed location. No sooner does he wake up than he finds himself in a rather terrifying situation. The roll next to him tells him to get out of the restroom while he still can, telling him to go to the light on the other side of the door. Soon after, a big fat guy named Earl shows up, does his business, and finishes the old toilet paper off.

Determined not to end up like his predecessor, the roll decides to be the first of them to get out.

The short was funded on Kickstarter on May 22nd, 2011, and released on December 12th, 2016. The short can be watched here.

T.P. contains examples of:

  • Animate Inanimate Object: The main characters are two living rolls of toilet paper, a living toilet, and a living toilet plunger.
  • Determinator: The roll is determined to escape from the hanger and get out of the restroom. In the end, his determination pays off.
  • Disgusting Public Toilet: The short takes place primarily in a small, filthy public restroom. Though we see some of the outside world in the credits.
  • Earn Your Happy Ending: The toilet paper roll manages to escape from the restroom and make it outside. He is then found by a young girl who throws him through the air, which he enjoys greatly. He ages to near-death as his paper unravels behind him, and dies smiling happily while looking up at the sun while laying down in a flowerbed.
  • Go Out with a Smile: After being thrown through the air, the toilet paper roll happily looks up to the sun in a flowerbed, and dies happily.
  • Incurable Cough of Death: The old toilet paper roll is coughing quite a bit, likely because he's on his last few strips of paper. Soon enough, Earl comes and finishes him off.
  • Initialism Title: With a title like "T.P.", this trope ought to be a given.
  • Monstrous Mandibles: The toilet's mouth is shown this way, his upper lip being made up of the seat.
  • The Stinger: The toilet goes on another "Piece by piece, ply by ply" rant, and the plunger starts plunging his mouth, telling him to shut up.
  • Stop Motion: The short is animated in claymation.
