Shadow and Marine
is an animated series based around the two titular Sonic characters. Taking place in a universe that seems to be a fusion of the Mario and Sonic universes, the series centers around Shadow being forced to live with Marine after losing a bet to Sonic. Hilarity Ensues.
Shadow and Marine contains examples of:
- Cloudcuckoolander: Silver has some moments of this, such as claiming a black screen to be the best movie he’s ever watched.
- Crossover: Between the Mario and Sonic universes, although the focus is on the Sonic universe.
- Hair-Trigger Temper: Shadow is very easily angered. Exploited by Sonic to get Marine (referred to by him and Amy as "the thing" out of his life and into Shadow’s by betting that Shadow can’t lose against him in a videogame and not get angry. Shadow loses the game and then the bet.
- Mythology Gag: Episode 4 concerns Sonic and Tails sending a letter to Mario, who’s at the Olympics during the episode.
- The Thing That Would Not Leave: Marine becomes this towards Shadow.
