Web Animation / Poppy Playtime Logic

Go To

Player from GameToons is back at it again. This time, he's thrown into the world of Poppy Playtime, and must avoid the evil toys as he tries to find a way to escape Playtime Co with his new ally, Poppy Playtime herself...and later Huggy Wuggy.

As GameToons's fifth ever animation to become a full series (following Squid Game Logic, Friday Night Funkin' Logic, Minecraft Logic, and Among Us Logic) and being their third flagship series after Friday Night Funkin' Logic and Among Us Logic and before Rainbow Friends Logic, Poppy Playtime Logic is basically the channel's interpretation of the entire game. This show sees Player using his skills and his new GrabPack as he looks for the employees trapped within the Information Wing, initially avoiding Huggy Wuggy and Kissy Missy and trying to not get killed by either one of them along the way.

Things get complicated later on when an even more horrifying entity, Killy Willynote  starts to not only attack Player and Poppy, but Huggy and Kissy as well. As the latter two are scared of the dangerous creature, Huggy decides to stick with Player in order to bring Killy down and return him to his normal state.

You can check the series out on the official playlist, even though the first episode is not there for whatever reason.

Poppy Playtime Logic provides examples of:

  • Adaptational Heroism:
    • In Poppy Playtime, it's not made clear on whenever or not Poppy is either a protagonist or an antagonist, even when she helps the player attempt to escape the factory in Chapter 2, only for her to change her mind and keep them there so that they can help her set things right in Playtime Co. at the end. Here, she's on Player's side and is willing to tell him about the things he interacts with and other things.
    • While Huggy Wuggy is no way on the player's side in the original game, he pulls off a Heel–Face Turn and joins Player's sides once Killy Willy starts to wreak havoc, and continues to help Player and Poppy even after Killy Willy is fully defeated.
  • Canon Foreigner: Killy Willy and his uncorrupted counterpart Silly Billy are entirely new and aren't in the actual game. Same goes for Elmo, who originated in a mod.
  • Fountain of Youth: In "Poppy Playtime, But Everyone's a Baby?!", Player, Huggy Wuggy, and Mommy Long Legs are turned into babies after Mommy Long Legs attacks Player, Huggy Wuggy, and Poppy while they were creating a serum that was intended to be used on Mommy Long Legs to stop her.
  • Heel–Face Turn: Huggy Wuggy is rightfully scared of Killy Willy, and stops focusing on killing Player once Killy appears and attacks him and Kissy Missy, joining Player and Poppy so they could stop Killy.
  • Horrifying the Horror: Huggy Wuggy and Kissy Missy are horrifying figures themselves, but are scared of the even more terrifying Killy Willy.
  • It Can Think: Huggy Wuggy can talk, as revealed and Lampshaded in "LEGEND of KILLY WILLY!?"
Huggy Wuggy: "Oh my god, what is that thing!?"
Player: "Oh my god, did Huggy Wuggy just talk?"
  • Living Toy: Not just Poppy or the dolls, but Player himself when he was smacked into a machine and turned into a mannequin.
  • Objectshifting: In "LEGEND of KILLY WILLY!?", Player was smacked into a toy machine by Killy Willy and came out as a yellow mannequin. It only took until Huggy Wuggy pointing it out for him to realize it.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: Nothing scares either Huggy Wuggy or Kissy Missy...except for Killy Willy. Both of them tremble at the sound of his roar. Which makes sense because he kills and eats Kissy in his debut.
  • Pragmatic Adaptation: Due to the game this is based on being released separately overtime in chapters, and not enough information being received on the rest of the actual game, the series has little to do with the game's story and changes personalities of characters, as well as introducing new ones, to create new stories.
