Pichuun Gensokyo is a Touhou Project fan animation created by Ninoseyasunori. It is a Slice of Life that follows the misadventures of Gensokyo's large cast.

  • Ascended Meme: Rumia has an EX-form, as shown in episode 45.
  • Art Evolution: Early episodes have a more simplistic animation style that lacks shading and is of a lower resolution. Take Ninoseyasunori's first episode, and then compare to episode 55
  • Art Shift: The Stinger of episode 20 has Cirno and Daiyousei interact with MikuMikuDance models of themselves.
  • Big Damn Heroes: Sumireko and Kasen come to Hatate's rescue in episode 34.
  • Big Eater: Yuyuko, to the point where she can eat all of the crops of an entire damn farm. In episode 57, where she effortless eats a giant mochi ghost.
  • Breast Attack: Episode 11 has Yamame pull Ran towards herself using a web stuck to the latter's breast, which she clearly isn't that comfortable with.
  • Can't You Read the Sign?: in episode 22, Renko and Maribel found the ruins of the Scarlet Devil Mansion, and also a pedestal with a Big Red Button on it with a cross out sign, signaling to not push it. Renko, being Renko, decides to push it anyways, and brought back the Fortune Teller as a result.
  • Decomposite Character: Reimu's PC-98 and Windows self are separate characters here.
  • "Freaky Friday" Flip: Episode 49 focuses on the Miracle Mallet swapping Kogasa and Yuuka's bodies.
  • Genki Girl: During the mini arc of episode 74-76, Renko and Maribel seemed to be excited over their touring of Makai, and thanks to Renko's energy, she managed to befriend a young shy Alice Margatroid.
  • Gone Horribly Right: Episode 20 has Marisa drug Reimu's tea with ZUN Power so that she will stop being lazy and clean up her filthy shrine. So she cleans up the shrine... and then goes on a rampage to exterminate every Youkai in Gensokyo, including agitating Yuuka.
  • Heavy Sleeper: In episode 19, a gap seems to appear and bring out Maribel Hearn sleeping on her bed, and she remained asleep even though the party at Alice's was starting to become a bit more... "boisterous" to say the least.
  • Naughty Tentacles: Episode 8 has Patchouli rig a book Marisa steals to attack her with tentacles while she sleeps as payback for constantly stealing from her library. And then Aya gets a picture while this happens. After Kasen forces Marisa to return all of the books she stole, it turns out that Marisa rigged all of the books with the same spell to return the favor to Patchouli.
  • Not So Above It All: Episode 34 has Kasen give Suika and Yuugi a scolding for refusing to leave Hatate alone, only to join the two of them in entering Hatate's house without permission at the end of the episode.
  • Only Sane Woman:
    • Rin gets a vacation in episode 26, and things at the Palace of Earth Spirits fall apart without her.
    • Daiyousei serves as one for the fairies in general, trying to stop their more harmful pranks.
  • Pyrrhic Victory:
    • After getting a premonition of her castle exploding, Remia helps Hina defeat a monster made of curses, but they clap hands, one last bit of curse magic proceeds to blow it up anyways.
    • After spending all of episode 41 trying to keep people off of her bridge, Parsee blasts a bunch of oncoming travelers away but takes her bridge down with them.
  • Ship Tease:
    • Rumia and Yamame have developed a bond with the end of episode 11 having them look into each other's eyes and blushing.
    • The end of episode 34 has Hatate blush after looking at pictures of Sumireko.
    • Part of episode 48 has Mystia land in Kutaka's arms and a pink aura surrounding them.
    • The plot of episode 56 is Narumi falling in love with Kogasa and trying to get her a gift. It's pretty one-sided.
  • Too Dumb to Live: Really now, was it really a good idea to burn the door belong to a goddess, as well as frying her followers? Daiyousei's the only one who didn't attack the door, as well as healing her followers, sparing her from Okita's revenge, as well giving her a back door.
  • Why Did It Have to Be Snakes?: Hatate is apparently scared of oni, and becomes terrified upon seeing Suika and Yuugi approaching her house in episode 34. She spends the rest of the episode trying to run away from them.
