MGT School is a Gacha Life series made by Akira-Chan.
A girl named Akira finds a Magical Girls Transform video one day, and gets fascinated. A witch teleports into her room and takes her to a school to make those videos. She also changes Akira's appearance as well. Akira meets Nana and Rasta, and the three become best friends while making videos for their fans. The series can be found on Akira-chan's youtube channel.
MGT School provides examples of:
- Abhorrent Admirer: In "Fan Freak", Creamy Chan is sort of portrayed this way towards Akira, by calling her "Akira-senpai", telling all of the other fans to move out the way, and following Akira around in secret.
- Academic Alpha Bitch: Seira Hinamori and Hoshina.
- Academyof Adventure: The school that they go to is a school for gifted MGT editors. They learn how to edit videos and show them to the world.
- Adaptation Dye-Job: Yoshiko Tsushima used to have sky blue colored hair, but in The Movie, she has a new look, including dark blue and dark purple braids.
- Adults Are Useless: There are never any parents shown, and the teachers are only shown teaching.
- Affectionate Nickname: Nana’s full name is Nana The Pink Ice Climber/Green Meme Dreamer TV, but everyone just calls her Nana.
- All for Nothing: An In-Universe example. The whole plot of "BFF Feud" is that Akira and Nana start fighting with each other because Nana wanted to use a certain song without asking Akira. At the end of the episode, they use the song anyways, causing this exchange between them and Rasta.:Rasta: (with CrossPoppingVeins) You used the song "Monster", right?
Nana: Yeah.(Beat)Rasta: Then what was the fight for?!Akira: (nervously) Oh, heh heh... - Alliterative Name: Rasta Rainbow.
- Am I Just a Toy to You?: In "What You Didn't Know About Her", Zodiac tells a flashback story about Seira using her. In "The Request Trap", Seira uses Lauryn.
- Animesque: The characters are styled like this, with big eyes and exaggerated expressions.
- Awful Truth: The most popular MGT editor, Seira Hinamori, is a cold-hearted monster.
- Badass Adorable: Rasta Rainbow. She can have some serious anger issues sometimes, but there are times where she’s adorable, like her fangirling over Seira in episode 4.
- In general, most of the characters in the series are.
- Bad Liar: Possibly Seira, as seen in "The Request Trap".
- Berserk Button: Rasta gets mad at a lot of things, but usually when Hoshina insults them.Hoshina: Ugh, now back to YOU losers.
Rasta: Oh, IT. IS. ON, GIRLY!!!! (runs over to Hoshina and puts up her fists) - Best Friend:
- Akira has two, Nana and Rasta.
- Lauryn can be counted as one, however, but she’s probably just a close friend.
- Betrayal by Inaction: Lauryn betrays Seira at the end of "The Request Trap".
- Big Damn Movie: Obviously, the movie.
- Bitch Slap: Done to Seira by Zodiac (twice) and Lauryn.
- Blah, Blah, Blah: In a fan episode by Green Meme Dreamer TV, the teacher says "blah blah blah" while he's talking.
- Blowing a Raspberry: Lauryn does this to Akira, Nana, and Rasta in "The Request Trap".
- Butt-Monkey: Poor Seira (even though she's mean) gets slapped three times.
- Call-Back: In "One Request Too Many", Akira references Zodiac's story from "What You Didn't Know About Her".
- A Day in the Limelight: There are some episodes where Akira, Nana, and Rasta aren't the main focus of the episode. (ex. "One Request Too Many" and "Battle of the Editors")
- Eyes Out of Sight: Esmeralda did have her hair cover her eyes for a moment in "The Start", but moved her hair out of the way and showed her eyes.
- I Regret Nothing: Rasta says this in "New Students", after screaming in Akira’s face.
- Troubled Backstory Flashback: In "What You Didn't Know About Her", Zodiac tells a story about Seira using her.
- Screw This, I'm Out of Here!:
- In "My New Helper!" Zodiac nervously tries to walk away before Seira notices her, but fails.
- In "The Video Contest", Yoshiko claims that she has to go to class, and walks off.
- In "No Pain, No Gain" Akira attempts this after Rasta says that they have to exercise.
