. It ended/went on an indefinite hiatus in 2017.
Hunters of Flahara provides examples of the following tropes:
- Aloof Ally: Connor may be on the heroes side, but he's very distant from the others.
- Art Shift: During more action packed sequences, it will sometimes switch to 3D animation, courtesy of RedDiamondREC.
- Badass in Distress: Slade and his friends get kidnapped by Merci at the end of Episode 2.
- Merci herself is taken hostage by the Bandits of Fordingham in Episode 3.
- Big Brother Instinct: When Merci gets kidnapped by the Bandits of Fordingham, the first thing Slade does is threaten the first person hanging outside their base.
- Cuteness Proximity: Merci absolutely goes gaga over Champ, much to the latter's annoyance.
- Destination Defenestration: In Episode 1, Connor throws one of the Bandits from Fordingham out the window after they tried to mug him.
- Fiery Redhead: Merci has bright red hair, and is more than willing to engage in some battle.
- Funny Animal: The Kajadis in general are talking animals who wear clothes. So far, the only Kajadis shown are Sebastian, Lucky, Cinder, and Champ.
- Like an Old Married Couple: Nathaniel says this word for word when he comments on Clutch and Merci's bickering. They're not amused.
- Red Is Heroic: Slade wears red and is the well-meaning protagonist of the series.
- Shoo Out the Clowns: The comedic characters such as Clutch are left behind when Slade, Connor, Flaire and Lucky go to the Avian Islands.
- The Smurfette Principle: Downplayed. Flaire and Merci are both on the heroes' team, but they join later on in the series.
- Undying Loyalty: After Captain Ryan goes missing when the group crash lands onto the Avian Islands, Sky tries to shoo Cinder away. Cinder refuses to leave the group since they were with his master.
